Of Course, if it is a question of money, which it always is, someone will find a way to foist this project upon the American people. It doesn't matter if there are safety concerns or if the overall project will hurt us in the long run. Most of our politicians seem to have forgotten they are merely representatives of the masses of people relying on them for justice in the political arena. This project seems ambitious, dangerous, and costly. I am sure the American people will somehow be expected to bear the brunt of its ultimate failure--just as they have financially born the brunt of other projects which sound good in theory, but never seem to amount to much when it comes to practical application. Perhaps, we need some everyday working folks in office instead of professional politicians who know nothing of "real" life in office.
