If the Healthcare laws pass the Supreme courts then when a republican get's elected president they can mandate abortion and tell you if and when you can have a baby, the sex of that baby and how many babies you can have.A woman has the right to choose what she does with her body so says,Roe vs. Wade,so why is it everyone else don't have the right to choose. All the other ways we were told how the government would take a local, state and federal tax out to cover any medical treatment someone needs who has no insurance, then they will be put on medicade, medicare, work comp,S.S.,the post office every time stamps went up and it's still bankrupt, the veterans administration. It's all broke with huge debts, our debt isn't 16 trillion,it's more like 123 trillion. The programs aren't working the way they said they would work and cost.People with insurance pay an extra 1000.00 per year to cover those without insurance.Obama increased cigarretts by 1 dollar per pack to cover cost of smoking related illnesses, states also added a 1 dollar tax.Every time they tax you and down the road don't have enough funding and impose another tax.500 billion is what was stolen from the people who paid into medicare. That is flat out theft, they money was taken for one program which made the intended program 500 billion short now.

The healthcare reform movement of the last decade and the legislation more recently are unconstitutional in the extreme. The Federal government is prohibited by our Constitution from mandating Anything related to health care. Such issues are giving to the States and to their citizens for deciding.. some thinkers [such as Thomas Jefferson] prefer the citizen making all decisions directly and others propose that the individual States may make mandates (including taxation for provision of such services).

Health care costs and inefficiency increase dramatically with regulation and mandates by government. Federal mandates are unlawful, according to the highest law of our land. The division of power between the State and Federal branches is clear, although court rulings over the years have followed tortuous paths regarding it.

Health care is best left to the responsible assessment of each person about what is wanted. Remember that back in the mid 1960s when people chose such things for themselves, it was reasonable for working people to pay hospitalization costs out of pocket or on a payment plan of only a few months. Doctor care should be available for everyone, and it was in the 1960s free market system [with charity hospitals etc]. Mandated high tech health "Industry" regulations, costs, and insurance are quite destructive of our culture and of society. Socialism is the real enemy of the people, as are all systems of "rule over the many by the few".

Personal choice and common sense bring down costs a Lot.

"Word is that the Obama administration purposefully asked the court to accelerate consideration of the law".

Not at first. Republicans hammered him to do so. There are cost to States that Republicans wanted to avoid...

"Word is that the Obama administration purposefully asked the court to accelerate consideration of the law".

Of course!

Obama doesn't want SCOTUS to forget the millions of $$$ he secretly bribed them with OUR TAX DOLLARS!

Politics is much uglier than you think, folks!!!
