Lessons From Barack Obama's Catholic Betrayal

As a practicing Catholic and one who tries to live within the churces teachings I have no problem with the Presidents decision concering contraception coverage. The availability of contraception does not mean that every pregnancy will lead to abortion. Rather it recognizes the primacy of a free will in controling one's body and reproductive life. I find it ironic that we as a "pro-life" faith support policies that are harmful to postnatal existince. That is we ignore, abandon, reject the responsibility to show Christian compassion and care once the cild is alive and outsidet the womb. I'd rather the woman be able to make a "free will" decision regarding her body rather than an institution or for profit entity. The objections to the Presidents proposed change defy reason and do not infringe on anyones freedom of religion.
