Nancy -

"...director of the Washington office of Koch Industries..."

Oh that is refreshing - she was the front man for the DC lobbyists pushing the Koch philosophy....The one that has really made our country so unified, right????? Not hardly. Nancy - I would leave that one off your resume. Totally discredits you.... The ultimate lobbyists for the 1%. Great stuff girl!

Good idea.

Defense spending has tripled since Clinton left office. I'll bet we could cut it in half and the country would still be well protected.

1. Bring all troops home from overseas. We have the planes and subs to cover the globe without sitting on foreign soil. That's over 600 bases worldwide.

2. Fire all contractors doing jobs the military used to do for itself. Soldiers can cook, clean, wash, change oil in vehicles, build roads, gather intelligence, police military sites, etc....

3. Stop building fancy embassies, roads and schools and industry overseas when Congress is unwilling to provide for Americans at home.

4. Stop foreign aid in any region that has a military conflict of any kind.

5. Freeze all health insurance insurance premiums.

6. Put all of Congress and the Administration on Social Security and Medicare with no pensions.

7. Close half the prisons in this country - centralize them in one area and elimnate the bigest growth industry in the country after the military. Not hard to do if we deport aliens, stop busting people for marijuana violations, and spent the money on SCHOOLS instead.

These things alone would save us $500 billion ($1/2 TRILLION) every year at least - and that is BEFORE any tax increases we need. Repeal the Bush tax cuts, and voila! a balanced budget again. I would balance the budget all right - but not at the cost of the quality of living here at home. The military establishment in this country owns Congress and is spending us into the grave.

“Koch spooge” is THE BEST YOU GOT ? No, you have “parroting to economic terrorists... ”. Can't forget “piece was trash”. Most intriguing might be what you saved for last, “I won't waste my time calling out total BS.”

Ah, but you did waste your time writing your dribble...

Bill Hedges of MO 3:06PM November 28, 2011

Does this worthless Koch wh0r3 really think anyone will buy this load garbage?

"But while we know that spending cuts are good economics..." -- In a weak economy? How much Koch spooge have you been guzzling?

"Interestingly enough, a new International Monetary Fund..." -- parroting to economic terrorists...

The rest of this piece was trash as well, but I won't waste my time calling out total BS.
