I am not a die hard McCain fan. In fact I really like neither of the candidates but if you think that the news is not bias towards Obama you are kidding yourself. Log onto yahoo news, google news, watch CNN or any news network (except fox news) every story shows Obama in a a positive light and McCain in a negative one. (Fox News being the exception. The New York Times has definitely abandoned it's journalistic integrity and gone completely in the tank for Barack Obama ... but, they aren't the only ones !!! CNN, Jack Cafferty, MSNBC, the Los Angeles Times,
John Stewart, Colbert, the View, most of Hollywood, the anchors who went overseas with Obama ... just to mention a few!!! And, what's even worse is that they no longer publish, or report opposing views. And, they have denied those they accuse from having a platform from which to respond. To half of America, it's inconceivable that the media would not only do this ... but, that they'd back an empty suit, with over 20 years of anti-American, racist associations, while trashing an American hero with 42 years of service to our country. When I was a kid, I admired the press, which always fought for truth. Now, it's like living in a totalitarian state, where one side controls biased information to the people. To Hollywood and the media ... Joseph Goebbels would be proud !!!

The mainstream media has not even touched any thing about the Obamas and here is something the media should investigate. Where was Michelle Obama during 9-11 Memorial? Michelle Obama wanted to send poor people to clinics instead of her hospital when they went to her hosiptal's emergency room. How about inveistigating why Obama's Chicago had more murders and killings than death of soliders in Iraq and Afghanistan this summer? Why did radical Islamist Khalid Al-Monsour asked civil rights leader, Percy Sutton, to write a letter for Obama so he could get into Harvad Law? Al-Monsour is paid by rich Saudis. How about finding out how only Barack Obama knew Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn, terrorist bombers and killers of policemen? Why Barack Obama, who has only been in office for less than four years got the 2nd most money for failed financial insitutions Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, that we the taxpayers, now have to bail out? How about investigating Communist Frank Marshall's association with Barack Obama, during a time when the Soviet Union wanted to destroy the U.S.? How about invesitgating how Obamanauts have tried to block any debate on WGN Radio in Chicago? How about the lawsuit that was filed by a Democrat against Obama? How did Obama get into Pakistan when he was a college student when no American could get in that country? How about the murder of Donald Young, the Gay Choir master at Obama's church? and so much more...

The press and the media, the News videos, are often edited.
McCain has also provided his view on this misrepresentation of actual events of his statements on the surge.
More then once I have seen Democrat, liberal, progressive articles and blogs that complain about the media well.
The media is biased, it isn't a Republican "whine", it is a veiw the majority of American's hold.
The media is very biased not only on this election, but just about any political issue.
There is a 2005 study of media bias, done by political science, that said the media is left biased, there are various other studies as well.
None of that is supposed to matter though, according to this article, the media isn't biased, its only Republicans that say so. Guess what, sometimes even Republicans are correct.

McCain just blew off speaking with thousands of reporters at the upcoming Unity national convention for journalists all the while complaining he's not getting nearly enough news coverage. At last count, it looks to be over 10,000 reporters who were snubbed by Mr. McCain. With all those news reporters losing out on a great opportunity to meet with and write about the man, could it be that mainstream media might be looking for something to report, a story to investigate?
Feel free to forward the following "news tip" to them. We can kill three birds with one stone - take the media to task for not giving us coverage on the full McCain, bring attention to an issue affecting many vterans, and give Senator McCain the level of news coverage he craves.
The media fills us full with stories of McCain's war 'hero' history, writes numerous articles on his status as a POW, informs us each and every time one vet speaks out for him, reminds us endlessly about the torture, even going into great detail about the types of torture and the number of years the man was tortured, yet it never enters the minds of mainstream media to ever ask the obvious question "Could the man running for the highest office in the United States of America, a job with incredible stress, possibly suffer from PTSD"?
Google the general web with the words 'mccain ptsd' and approximately one half million hits will appear. Many of these are articles by veteran groups, most having to do with McCain's lack of support for veterans and others having to do with the very real possibility he suffers from PTSD.
Now go to Google news section and enter 'mccain ptsd'. You might pull up one or two related articles, if you are lucky.
As you can see, there is no real mainstream media resonsibility on this issue. The press is more than willing to talk about the details of McCain's torture but not the probable result of the torture.

McCain has a nine out of ten chance of having PTSD, displays many of the symptoms, yet no one in the mainstream press will question him, a candidate for Commander in Chief who has a history of an out of control temper and
refuses to release his military medical records to the general press.
Nine out of ten - Anyone willing to take book on the possibility he does not suffer from ptsd? Call me, I need gas money.
'Post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, can result from wartime trauma such as suffering wounds or witnessing others being hurt. Symptoms include irritability or outbursts of anger, sleep difficulties, trouble concentrating, extreme vigilance and an exaggerated startle response.'

Before the Iraq war many of us begged the media to fully report on the wmd in Iraq, how it got there, who helped to supply Saddam with it and to report on previous administrations' dealings with Iraq. We were told it was ancient history. The media 'apologized' years later for their failure to fully report the war.
Today, we ask the media to help us answer the question 'Is John McCain emotionally fit for the most stressful job in our country, the President of the United States, our Commander in Chief."
Media has a choice. They can continue to tip toe around the elephant in the room, put a poltician before country, violate the spirit of journalism and ignore ethics that bind them, or they can do their job. They can give us the full McCain.

Americans have a media bias perception problem. The team who cries the loudest and most effective wins in the media bias game. That's it plain and simple. Rush used to say there is no media bias, but soon after he and the others saw the big gains in promoting media bias in the form of "liberal media". There was no REAL liberal media except the perception they pushed. They have succeeded in the perception game, that's all! John McCain is winning also, even if he has historically been one of the most loved politicians in recent history with the media in general. The republicans have been the best at the perception game even if they have to turn perceptions a complete 180 degrees, in fact that is where they do the best job at it. Republicans are the best at nipping perception problems in the bud, before it hurts them. They do this by promoting the opposite ASAP, which is very effective in today's media.

The Investors Business Daily editoral of July 23, 2008 summerizes this well: Media donations to dems v. the GOP were 100 to 1. What does that tell you? If that doesn't say something then a reminder of the Old Gray Lady's biased decision to not publish McCain Op-Ed piece on Iraq. Why was it not published? Because it wasn't "In Line" with what Barry Huessin Obama submitted to the same paper.
The harder the press tries to tell we the people that they are not biased towards the closet socialist, the more people realize they are being hoodwinked by a tired group of has-been hippies and orators who deliver speeches with empty meaning.
We aren't falling for it!!!
