Lieberman should be representing the people of Conneticut not a foreign country. All Lieberman seem to care about is whats best for Israel.

Answering the crack-head Replicants who hold some strange belief that liberals ought to tolerate scum-suckers like Lieberman - This pig is yours, now go put your damn lipstick on it.

Joe said in 2006 he considered himself a member of the Democratic party. He said he would work to make sure a Democrat was in the White House in 2008. He lied. It is that simple. The Democrats do not need liars. Obviously Chris and Cyros are comfortable with liars like Joe and he should officially move to the Republican camp.

While I totally agree with the premise of kicking Lieberman out of the Dem Caucus, there is an error in this piece. The organizing rules of this Senate put in place when Jeffords defected from the GOP would not cause the Dems to lose their majority if Lieberman switched allegiances. But I am not sure if the Dems can force him out or he would have to decide for himself to leave for this rule to apply. Nor am I sure in the midst of a session Lieberman can be removed from his Committees or stripped of his seniority with the Dems.

That said, the Dems should never have been in the position of waiting so long while putting up with Joe to decide what to do about him. It should have been easy enough to give him the boot when he went up to Maine to help Susan Collins raise money for her reelection campaign - a seat the Dems hope to take back in this election.

Harry Reid is only one of many Dems who helped create the Lieberman monster we see today and they get what they deserve. Until we see Dem Senators step up and deal with Lieberman we shouldn't expect much from them but more of the same electioneering instead of doing what's best for the country,

I think Lieberman would be more comfortable in the Likud Party.

Mr. Lieberman does not pay homage to American flag ... his loyalty is to Israel only.

Joe has no longer got any reason to stay in the Democratic Party. He is supporting the most corrupt bunch of bandits America has seen in government since the Republicans of the 1920's.

Party membership is a way of organizing the two houses of Congress, one that grew out if conflict over policy after the election of 1800, and when John Quincy Adams tried to run a moderate administration with no special consideration for party organizations, he got his head handed to him and made certain that Andrew Jackson won the next Presidential election.

Joe promised the voters who voted for him that he would support the Democratic candidate for President this year, and he has gone back on his word. He is as worthless and self-serving as Benedict Arnold, and the Republicans won't trust him any more than the Democrats do now. He loves the Republican's perpetual war and he loves John McCain. He begged Obama to come to campaign with him in the Democratic primary, and Obama did. This is the way the piece of gutter slime pays people who went out on a limb for him back.

This isn't about the Democratic Party. It is about the self-serving narcissistic Joe Lieberman who stabs everyone who trusted him in the back at the first possible opportunity. Anyone who is near Lieberman better stand with their back to a wall and their eyes on him to watch for the knives to come out. The only people who want him to remain in the Democratic Party are Republicans.
