Hello guys!

I'm new here. I've eventually found this wonderful site and took decision to sign up here!

I hope we'll communicate with each other nicely! So this is my first post!

(apologies for the
paragraphs. Perhaps they can be removed? I didn't know it would auto-break for me! Thanks much)

I love the critieria espoused by Khajawall above:
1. Vision

2. Character, Integrity

3. Sound/sustained Temperament and Judgment

4. Little "Washington exposure", connected with future generation

5. Inspires rather than Tears us Down

6. Not based on sexism, racism, regionalism, ageism.

7. USA-Centric
And Obama supposedly fits this?

Obama -- definitely inspiring to some (#5) and little experience (#4)... fits together nicely: Barry attracts people with little experience or understanding.
Barry defines himself mostly by being different -- whether the change is helpful or not. Yeah, he's different all right, one of the most liberal senators out there, right up there with Boxer and the rest. He doesn't like labels, but actions speak louder than words.
#1, a man of vision? Hardly - "let's change everything" is hardly a useful vision.
#2, Character and Integrity? Hardly. He willingly accepts the African-American moniker and ingratiates himself with inner-city blacks. Facts: Barry Obama was raised by white (single) mom and grandparents while receiving elite private schooling in Hawaii (and like all non-Hawaiians, was sometimes mistreated.) I have friends who grew up with Barry, and laugh about claims he really understands what it is to be poor in America.
#3 Sustained judgement? Hardly. Barry, Mr "that's not the guy I knew!" Barry's disavowing his chosen mentors tells all we need to know. It isn't the mentors who changed, it's Barry: beginning to wake up to just how bad his own judgement is. Terrible.
#4 An outsider with little experience? YES! You want lack of experience? Then Barry's your guy. Listen to his May 19 talks in Billings and Portland. Besides the obvious no threat/grave threat Iran stuff... what does he really believe? He's impressed that the USSR had visible power, but doesn't understand the terrorists pose a greater threat because their power is invisible and driven by longer-term focus. Scary immaturity.
#5 Inspires rather than tears down? Yup, if you're needing a handout, Barry is inspirational. If you believe we all need to work hard to achieve the American dream, like Reagan did, Barry will tear you down.
#6 Not based on... racism... ageism? What was that about the younger generation? What was that about climbing to the top because of his race? Sorry, if ever there was a candidate defined by race and age, Barry's it! And he sops it up.
#7 USA-Centric? Hardly. If you understood the terrorist's strategy (read up on Qutb and predecessors), you'd know we're not gonna preserve the USA by looking inward. We need to beat the terrorists on their own turf (yes, somehow maintaining our own principles at the same time!) Barry has no clue.
So much for the professional, political and personal wisdom embodied in linking Obama to these criteria.
Barry Obama: inspires those with little experience or understanding, who want change, whether it will help or harm.

It is a well known fact that the church you support and go to for services, baptisms, cake sales, Christmas concerts et al, and the church you contribute financially to, and the church that you love and adore, is a huge part of a Christian's life.

To try to equate Mccain here with Obama is an outright falsehood

This latest incident exposes Obama as the uber liberal divider who he REALLY is

and Col, with all due respect, I appreciate your service. But you can't blame the media for questioning Obama's faith and Chuch as they are what make up his character. As I said above, Your church really defines you and you cannot hide from a 20 year history. Obama has heard that message countless times and now wants us to believe he didn;t or doesn't agree with it?

Think about it, please, before he ruins this GreatGrand Nation.

Father Day Reflection on Election Campaign 2008 :

Election 2008 is not a election but a decision for homecoming. Americans are on the crossroad of homecoming or to the abyss. They are currently facing Great Depression II and the only conscious solution is to repeat what they had done in the last Depression and emerged as a much stronger country. In the 1930s Americans were smart enough not to elect a politician as president but to return home to their parents, FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt, who had nurtured them back to health and wealth. Today, we are facing the same dilemma, should Americans elect a radical politician who has given them empty promises? Or, to return home to their parents, John and Hillary? The choice is really quite simple. Obama and Black supporters reminisced wrestlers whose matches are pre-arranged and play by hitting under the belt theatrics causing economic downturn just to win. So, stop watching American games. Obama's white supporters are insulting their own race as incompetent and incapable of managing their own country . Whether Obama will be elected his "super delegates", who endorsed at other's expense, must be sentenced to live in Black neighborhoods for more than four years to find out what they are really like. The democratic governor of Oklahoma who had just endorsed Obama must be executed for causing their supernatural tornadoes. The communication media of the U. S. are circus clowns not worth commenting on because they have never given any honest election comments. American voters in general are "blind" to good judgement. Hillary Clinton, best American candidate in history, can be identified with a unspoiling mother who has wasted her own $10 million just to warn her stubborn and ignorance daughter not to date strangers in the street. John McCain who has shown the ability to set aside party differences for the common good, working relentless for the American by running on many elections and his decency has earned the trust of most Americans. Together as a team John and Hillary will carry Americans out of the current Great Depression. But will a good father send his children to early grave for a war that cannot be won? Obviously, our parents are much older than us but they have the experience we rely on and care we need. Happy Father Day!

John, you wish for McCain's situation and Obama's situation to be the same. And with the clout you libs in the media have and your apparent lovefest with Obama will try and make arguments that it is. But the fact of the matter is: Obama spent 20+ years in the church with a known bigot and anti-American, McCain did not. Obama had this guy baptize his kids and marry him and MIchelle, McCain did not. Obama called the guy his spiritual advisor, McCain never claimed to have Hagee or Parsley as his spiritual advisor. These situations are vastly different and person being disingenuous here are people like you and other liberals who refuse to accept the fact that Obama made some stupid decisions in life.

The fact that McCain or Obama would receive these people as endorsements is not the problem. If Wright and Farrakhan simply endorsed Obama, there would be no problem. If Obama left Wright's church even two or three years ago, there would be no problem. No, the problem is that Obama tried to bury this guy and call him "some crazy uncle" and hoped that no one would be the wiser. Too bad people are much smarter than what Obama gives us credit for.

Recent publicity of McCain denouncing pastors Rod Parsley and John Hagee is useful for reminding the nation that some independent mega-churches have gone off course to the worship of end-times prophecy more than merely focusing on Jesus and his simple teachings about how we should try to live.

While church folks are pondering that, they (we) can also ask ourselves whether Jesus could possibly be calling His followers to elect mega-dealers of beer (the McCains) to be the leaders of America. Why on earth would He do THAT?

Dear Fellow Americans,

Our Greatgrand Nation, the United States of America,

is facing and will face very critical, substantial

"Challenges" in the coming months, years, and decades.

It is imperative that we the people of the America

become interested, involved, and engaged in choosing

and voting for our next President.

The following criteria will guide and help us to a

right candidate. The candidate we choose must have

following characteristics:

1. A clear, candid " Vision and Mission" for our

Nations present and future.

2. A " Strong Character and significant

Integrity".

3. A sound and sustained "Presidential Temperament"

and " Judgment".

4. Less "Washington exposure" and "real

connectivity with the people and future

generation".

5. One who "Inspires us up" rather than

"Tears us Down or divides us".

6. One who is not based on sexism,

racism, regionalism, ageism, or any other ism and as

well as one who attempts to " bring us together ".

7. A foreign policy of mainly "USA Centric".

In my professional, political and personal opinion,

the only candidate that meets all the above

characteristics and has shown consistent

coolness, calmness, and connectedness { PRESIDENTIAL

TEMPERAMENT } is Senator Barack Obama.

As an independent registered voter since 1980, I voted

for Carter, voted for Reagan, voted for First Bush,

and second Bush in 2000 and in the process lost

interest in Washington politics to the point where i

stopped voting. Getting disinterested and disgusted in

our political process and stopping voting was a very

very bad decision in any circumstance, particularly

under present circumstances.

This time we can not afford to stay on the sidelines

and let "Washington" stay the same. We can not afford

to allow our Greatgrand Nation to become less than

what we are, what we were and what we can be.

We need to send a clear, careful and candid message to

the world and sometimes 24-hour partisan divisive

media, that We the American people will set the agenda

for our future. America and Americans will be back.

These partisan media outlets are trying and will try

their best to deprive, decieve, dupe, and derail us.

Let us stay involved, engaged, and express our opinion

freely and vote. Our Nation will get it right this

time

to protect, preserve, and promote our future.

Some of these partisan media and pundits are trying

their best to deny us a better future and continue

focusing on our weaknesses to generate a bitter future

for us and our Greatgrand Nation. Our nation's people

will see thru. Unfortunately our Greatgrand Nation's

people are persistently and constantly subjected to

this "Psychological Terrorism" without common people’s

knowledge.

The common and regular people do not have time to see

thru and sort thru this psychological terrorism

perpetuated by some of these partisan media outlets.

I find it tragic, unfortunate, and sad [ They probably

do not care about our Greatgrand Nation ]as they claim

that they do it in the interest OF our Greatgrand

Nation.

We the Americans should not and will not to allow

some of these partisan media outlets to

psychologically

terrorize, traumatize and silence us this time nor

any other time in future.

I am sure that we will get it right this

time and elect Senator Obama as our next President.

Let us remember that our Greatgrand nation consists of

family, friends,fellowships, faith, funds,foundation,

fun, and future with fairness and freedom and without

fear, favor, or failure .

We can not afford to lose any of the above. Let us

stand up, be counted, save and rebuild our Greatgrand

Nation for centuries to come. I am sure our Greatgrand

nation andits diverse people. will reclaim, regain and

restore the global economic, social, moral, and power

status of USA.

God Bless our Great grand Nation and its diverse

people.

Our Greatgrand nation needs present and future

stability, security, safety,sustained progress and

restoration of our due status in this perilous Global

World at all levels.

Yours sincerely,
