The fact is that Rush has had a great influence on middle Americans. Those that are still wanting to see this Country live on and not be destroyed like the Democrats want.

So, when John McCain wins in November, maybe by the largest victory margin in the history of elections, what will your excuse be?

C.E. Perez of FL 4:16PM May 18, 2008

all one has to do is listen to Bill and Hillary, and know who the true bigots are.

the soundbites about racists that are normally saved for Republicans are now being used against each other. (Obama and Hillary), and as much as you may want to blame the Republicans, it started with Bill.

Everyone has the right to vote for whoever they want, regardless. No reasons are needed. Rush's Operation Chaos is brilliant! Apparently you left wing liberals know nothing about political history. This has been done many, many times in the past political history of our country. Read your history books. It is not malfeasance, against the law, or anything of the like. John Mashek is nothing but a left wing liberal who wants to promote liberalism. Which nowadays, can be described as anyone who hates our country, our armed forces, and our government and founding fathers. How anyone can call themselves a christian and be a liberal, is well beyond me! Go Rush! We need more true patriots like Rush, and Hannity, Beck and the other conservative talk-show hosts. You cannot get straight unbiased news from the drive-by media anymore.

Hey John, if Rush is such a blowhard, why in the hell are you talking about him? Shows that Rush is more relevant than you'll ever be.

And I don't even listen to the man. But I will agree with the last poster: both parties have been an absolute letdown when it comes to domestic and foreign policy. I think the only difference is that some Republicans can recognize their failures, but Dems are opposed to taking responsibility for their own mediocrity.

Chris of 11:15AM May 12, 2008

I've read most of the above, and agree with you all. You must remember that both Repubs and Dems have all made bad-bad mistakes. Throw in our great News "Professionals" and you have a simply amusing history of worthless words.

Guote: " It's better to be thought ignorant, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Repubs: Remember Richard Nixon and his criminal crew. WOW! Stupid??

Dems: Remember your last candidate who falsified his Army records to give him a politcal advantage . Absolutely disgusting, especially to the real heros.

John: You show real character by Headlining your article with "BLOWHARD". Do people really pay money to hear you speak? You are like a carnival scam artist.

Rush: Your tactic will only be proven a success after the election. Stop bloviating.

Commentors: (me included) Why waste your time helping a out-of-date magazine sell their subscriptions by hurling slurs, profanity, lies, unauthenticated comments, and whatever else gets you your jollies at people you will never meet? You hope!

Sorry. I don't even know how I got onto this site, since I was looking for the Sports Section. It looked interesting enough to waste some free time reading, and then I thought: Gee Whiz! I could make a comment that is as good as these guys, but I'll keep out the Trash-Talk. None of you seem to be able to T-T properly anyway.

Judge: You are all "Guilty" of wasting time. Get a life!

The Judge of FL 1:51AM May 12, 2008

Democrats *hate* it when Republicans use their own tactics against them. Demos have routinely done this in open primary states for years!

It doesn't feel too good does it?

But don't worry, you can still have either fool you want.

Where are the angry feminists defending Clinton? hmmm?

Kate Michelman where are you???!!! Calling all NOW gang feminazis!!! To the ramparts!!!!!

White guilt over an unqualified black man makes a democrat do strange things.

P.S. Every vote should count in Florida, shouldn't it? Hippocrites!!!

Demo Observer of OH 10:01PM May 11, 2008

ALL elections are about winning.

LBJ got elected to the Senate in Texas because all 260 some odd residents of one town voted unanimously for LBJ. No problem, except they voted in ALPHABETICAL ORDER. Now there is a crime.

Our constitution, (despite the unconstitutional McCain-Feingold) protects speech, especially political speech. Rush has the right to urge anyone to vote for or against anyone. The Press, especially the New York Times, and other media outlets, have been urging everyone to vote Democrat for years.

The people of America have to right to vote for anyone they want. That often means voting AGAINST someone. The problem here is that "Operation Chaos" is successful. Perhaps this will be the start of a time where voters are more sophisticated about their votes.

The basis of the Democrat party is that they want to take money from some and redistribute it to others. When the top 50% of wage earners pays 96.5% of all income taxes, everyone should see that THAT is unfair. Hey Democrats: It is immoral to elect people to steal from some and give to others.

We need to be get away from government and become a people who are ruggedly independent. Be people who do for themselves and do not rely on government. Of course there are some who need help, but that's really a minority. DO IT YOURSELF!

Marc Held of ME 8:11PM May 11, 2008

Mashek is obviously a "has been/never was" who is envious of Rush's influence. Mary Mapes is, of course, an obvious loser who has to resort to personal attacks because she didn't have time to concoct a fictitious charge against Rush as she and that other-pathetic loser Dan Rather tried to do with President Bush.

Nice to see you bounced back and landed on your feet with another "news organization," Mary! Oh..... that's right-- you didn't! LOSER!!! LIAR!!!!
