I agree that the some folks at the NRA are getting fat at the expense of their membership. However, if getting fat at the expense of the people is a crime, we need to incarcerate EVERY Federal politician, starting with the President.
Sounds to me like Mr. Feldman is an anti-2nd Amendment plant! The 2nd Amendment is clear and simple, 'The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed'. ANY infringement is against the Constitution of the United States.
Statistical data proves that where firearms and the right to defend yourself is upheld gun violence is down.
It is no surprise to see an article like this in 'U.S. News & World Report', everyone knows that it is a proponent of the left and anti-Constitution.

Looks like the NRA of late is a tad too money hungry and a bit overpaid and "fat". Don't care for them peddling charge cards, insurance, wine, and misc. etceras. However: 1. Expenses in the Washington DC area are sky high and salaries should not be directly compared with the rest of the country. 2. Bet Richard Feldman is probably a tad overpaid also and more than vaguely interested in raking in the dollars on the sale of his book. 3. The NRA saved my gun from the nutcases that tried to redefine the term "assault rifle" from its original "full-automatic" definition to include about any "semi-automatic" rifle, and then ban them. The NRA isn't perfect, but its our best defense against the gun control nutcases out there.
