The Obama Campaign Should Be Hitting the Panic Button

Do I detect bit of wishful thinking? It's not the Democrats who are stuck with a lackluster wishy-washy candidate. On one hand you could interpret Romney's various posturings as etch-a-sketch nonsense. On the other hand, as Newt stated, he appears to be a liar. Then , when you throw the Mormonism cult thing in to boot, you have a real disaster on your hands, as in train wreck.

obama has failed miserably since he got elected. he has not even proved that he is a valid or legitimate american citizen. his photo shopped forgery of the birth certificate, along with other issues should give us warning. i remember he said, "all of you black folks be sure to get out and vote for me". he is living proof that you don't need to be white to be a racist. he will likely declare a state of emergency right before the election due to civil unrest, and then impose martial law. it wouldn't surprise me at all. he has been the worst president since i was a kid in the 50's. how could he possibly be re-elected? our america cannot afford him any longer.

it would not surprise me if obama put into action another one of his "executive orders", because of social unrest right before the election. an order to postpone the election so he can remain in office until the civil unrest is under control. that's when he may send troops into our streets to control "WE THE PEOPLE". think about it folks, he could try to do just that.

They hit the panic button a couple months ago... why else the incoherent attack on the Supreme Court? Desperate flailing is unbecoming of a president... and Mr. Obama is, in many ways, looking less and less like a president.

It's interesting that ALL of the Big Commie Media outlets were at Sheriff Joe Arpaio's March 1st press conference, DYING for their Usurper-In-Chief to be vindicated. Much to their utter dismay, they didn't get what they came for, so they spent the next WEEK trying to figure out the best way to spin the biggest HOAX ever perpetrated on the American people into making the story about the ONE law enforcement official in the COUNTRY with the Ballz to expose the TRUTH about the illegal Kenyan Muslim Marxist racist Chicago street monkey usurper.

Thanks to a REAL American hero, we now know that we have a usurper in OUR White House. AZ Sheriff Joe Arpaio's Cold Case Posse's MONTHS LONG investigation by EXPERTS IN THEIR PROFESSIONS has proven that BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA is GUILTY OF HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS. The ONLY reason he hasn't been taken away in chains is the fact that he has his COMMUNIST comrades (Soros, etc.) completely controlling the US media. Just imagine if he were a Republican and tried to pull the greatest hoax in the history of the country?

Even with these cold, hard FACTS the scariest thing of all is that MILLIONS of (clueless) American "voters" are still willing to vote for a foreign born usurper as their "leader"...a very sad and scary testament to what this once great proud nation has become.

To those bashing Rick....he is a regular poster at RCP.....

He deliberately misspelled his words and used the wrong terms. It's called "dry sarcasm."

He does it all the time at RCP. He is making fun of the usual liberal democrats' complaints.

As for obama....he is in very deep trouble. His class warfare isn't working. The gender war didn't work. The gsa debacle is a classic example of why you don't give more money to the government.

Want to know how panicked the liberals are? Thomas Friedman wrote an article pontificating on whether we need an "arab spring" in the nation. Doncha love it? They are going down in flames with the voters.....nothing is working, so now they ponder if societal upheaval is necessary.

These people are horrendous. Grotesque, and diseased visions of what our nation is about. And when the nation is turning against them....they wonder if riots and government overthrow is the answer.......because they can't jam themselves down our throats if we their them out.

The end of the "obama era" is coming. If they don't like it, they can move. And take their riots with them.

I will never understand why people still think Obama is likeable.

Poor choice of words "fixer" lol. That's what it has come down to I guess: innumerable conflicting priorities present a spectacle of unfunded liabilities and a prospective field day for selective enforcement of some of the endless regulations. Enter the elected official, able to “fix” our policy issue just as his or her predecessors “fixed” our parking tickets. ARGH.

Obama is half-full. Some he scares, some he invigorates. We have a financial system when it might have utterly collapsed. We are not doing too badly with world opinion or with the bushel basket of mini-wars. Although not much has been done as regards pro-growth and pro-sanity tax reform, or funding/trimming the huge liabilities, or stabilizing the currency, or fitting our defense policy, defense establishment, and available resources in to a compatible whole.

Not much more could have been done, the road is rocky and the public are divided.

The health care coverage extension looks to work but if THAT method is the best we can do, then it becomes clear why safety net expansions occur only once a generation.

For me, JFK and Bill Clinton are far from my favorite examples of anything, yet instructive I think on Obama vs. Romney. Jack and Bill put growth first. Somehow that makes everything else easier. DUH. There is a lot of dogma in both parties militating against pro-growth decisions and it is not clear anyone could have done better.

But it is clear that what Obama has done so far is as a match lit in a hurricane, not much help at all. Do we support him in a second stab at it, or call in replacement hitters (Romney and crew).

Hard for me to say. Romney and Obama have rather different personal odysseys but both are smart, hardworking, and accomplished. Neither is particularly Bubba-licious like Clinton…we don’t want beer and bbq with either of them.

But their policies are similar. Perhaps what it comes down to, is who would have the best chance of putting together a governing coalition of enough of their own party plus a few from the other.

The probloem is (US&R owner) Zuckerman had been shilling for the guy for years and finally woke up to what was obvious from when the time he wassa elected, Obama is a hard core socialist egomaniac, and and if anything is mean and vindictive and petty. Look what he did to Rep Paul Ryan during that speech last year.

JET99999 of MA 1:56AM April 23, 2012

I don't know of a single person that likes this president, and I'm thinking of about 50 people--in fact, some abhore this president.

But then, I'm from a red state where they have an idea about his devastating policies.
