Republicans just want to kill Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid whatever they call it. Its bad anyway around it.

And the majority of Americans are opposed to these trash bills Republicans keep regurgitating. Its clear Republicans are not working for the public interest, they are not looking out for the General Welfare. The GOP is only working for special interests that want to roll back FDR's New Deal and LBJ's Great Society, two milestones of the last century the marked the period of highest growth and greatest prosperity of the USA ever.

The Ryan Budget is garbage

Cap, cut and balance Amendment is garbage

Any amendment to the Constitution would take a couple years so to even talk about means Republicans don't want to govern, plain an simple - they should resign if they are not going to do their job.

Both are attempts to make the Bush tax cuts permanent

all at a point where taxes on the rich and corporations are at the lowest in our history and some of the lowest worldwide

so bascially both these bogus budgets and amendment fantasies mean the Republicans don't think the Rich or corporations need to contribute to this government at all. let the serfs pay all the taxes, let the eat cake

As to this the GOP's Copout, Rat and Unbalanced Amendment it require a 2/3 majority to even eliminate any ludicrous tax loopholes or ever raise taxes on the rich

Both these Republican ideas are shams - don't be swindled by the GOP again

Look at the great results Democrats got Nov. 2, 2010. Democrats ignored polls against and passed obamacare and most of their legislation.

By the way:

"Why Paul Ryan’s Medicare Is So Much Better Than Obama’s"...

"Obama said regarding the Ryan budget plan, “No I don’t think it is particularly courageous. Because…nothing is easier than solving a problem on the backs of people who are poor or people who are powerless or don’t have a lobbyist or don’t have clout.”

"How does obamacare cut cost, but help "people who are poor or people who are powerless or don’t have a lobbyist or don’t have clout.”

"cuts in payments to doctors and hospitals under Medicare as provided in current law due to Obamacare and President Obama’s Medicare reimbursement policies is $15 trillion!"

"These Medicare cuts were the foundation for CBO finding that Obamacare would actually reduce the deficit, despite adopting or expanding three entitlement programs.

"Medicare’s Chief Actuary reports that even before these cuts already two-thirds of hospitals were losing money on Medicare patients."

"The unworkable, draconian effect of these Medicare cuts is why the U.S. Government Accountability Office issued a disclaimer..."

Unlike Ryan’s careful Medicare reforms, these draconian, unworkable, Obamacare cuts to Medicare apply to seniors already retired today. Ryan exempts from any change all seniors retired today and everyone over age 55. On these grounds alone, Ryan’s Medicare is better for today’s seniors than Medicare under Obamacare.

That will involve an additional $500 billion in Medicare cuts for today’s seniors by 2023, “and an additional one trillion dollars in the decade after that,” in Obama’s own words.

"Obama proposed to give even more power to the unelected, unaccountable, Washington bureaucrats on his Commission to cut Medicare further, by undemocratic automatic sequester that bypasses Congress entirely."

"Seniors would do far better each choosing their own health insurers themselves in a competitive marketplace, which is the system that has generated the highest standard of living in the world in America for all goods and services."

"Even President Obama was forced to admit before the Facebook audience that the Ryan Medicare plan “will control costs, except if you get sick and the policy that you bought doesn’t cover what you’ve got….If you’re somebody who’s older and has a pre-existing condition, insurance companies won’t take you.” But that’s not how the private insurance companies under Medicare Advantage work. Nor is that true of the private Medigap plans, whose sellers include AARP, central players in Obama’s own political machine."

Ryan's Budget Hurts Americans

Ryan's Budget is dead on arrival but every time the conservatives try to give CPR to Ryan's Budget its just garners more votes against the GOP and their radical agenda.

Ryan's Budget, like the Tea Party, are figments of Fox News imagination. Ryan's anti-American budget is product of Fox News and Rupert Murdock's criminal empire.

Murdock is going down, Ailes with him, and Surprise -suddenly there is no support for smut like Ryan's Budget.

Lots of Luddite news lately. Someone needs to tell the cult of stupidity it's going to take a lot more than prayer to reverse global warming .

1. “The Republican prescription is to cut taxes and slash government spending ”

Answered that in my precious comment.

2. “The U.S. is among the lowest taxed of the big industrial economies.”

obama said you do not raise taxes in recession. Unemployment numbers just went up.

3. “So the case that America is grinding to a halt because of high taxation ”

Obamacare has a lot to do with companies not wanting to bear the cost of obamacare. Wonder if those taxes are included in America having low taxes ? Companies instead of investing that money, is sitting on it. barry high debt can lead to loss of AAA for America.

4. “The record is clear. Republican economic policies have not created jobs. They have created huge deficits, increased unemployment and caused the near collapse of the economy. ”

“According to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the Bush tax cuts actually shifted the total tax burden farther toward the rich so that in 2000-2004, total income tax paid by the top 40% of income-earners grew by 4.6% to 99.1% of the total.”

http://www.americanthinker.com/2010/03/lying_about_bushs_tax_cuts.html

In 2 years obama created more debt than 8 years of Bush.

5. Clinton never had a balanced budget until Newt closed down government twice. Forced Clinton to sign his first balanced budget. CONTRACT WITH AMERICAN had balanced budget in it. That was Republican plan.

6. “Republican economic policies have failed miserably for the past 30 years”

Got real proof with links ? You know data. Here’s mine:

1. Drought you would be far happier in Cuba. They take your Freedom of Choice away there.

2. “It would be hysterically funny if we did't have other matters to attend to”.

We have barry and Democrats taking care of business:

a. barry said he would reduce deficit by 50 %. By proposing 2011 budget that adds $$$ 9.5 new debt over time according to CBO ?

b. Rare no budget passed Oct. 1, 2010 by Democrat controlled Congress & WH. No GUTS to reduce.

c. barry speaks of cutting cooperate welfare specifying private jets. Was his stimulus package that gave.

d. barry was specific in condemning oil welfare. It was obama in one of his rare votes (he voted present in record numbers) that helped pass oil welfare.

f. Barry said you do not raise taxes in recession. Maybe with recent rise in unemployment we are not in recession ?

Daniel of CA ... “but what is the evidence that tax cuts are the best path to revive the U.S. economy?”

“According to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO), the Bush tax cuts actually shifted the total tax burden farther toward the rich so that in 2000-2004, total income tax paid by the top 40% of income-earners grew by 4.6% to 99.1% of the total.”

_____

“The Kennedy tax cuts”

President Hoover dramatically increased tax rates in the 1930s and President Roosevelt compounded the damage by pushing marginal tax rates to more than 90 percent. Recognizing that high tax rates were hindering the economy, President Kennedy proposed across-the-board tax rate reductions that reduced the top tax rate from more than 90 percent down to 70 percent. What happened? Tax revenues climbed from $94 billion in 1961 to $153 billion in 1968, an increase of 62 percent (33 percent after adjusting for inflation)."

_____

“The Reagan tax cuts”

“Thanks to "bracket creep," the inflation of the 1970s pushed millions of taxpayers into higher tax brackets even though their inflation-adjusted incomes were not rising. To help offset this tax increase and also to improve incentives to work, save, and invest, President Reagan proposed sweeping tax rate reductions during the 1980s. What happened? Total tax revenues climbed by 99.4 percent during the 1980s, and the results are even more impressive when looking at what happened to personal income tax revenues. Once the economy received an unambiguous tax cut in January 1983, income tax revenues climbed dramatically, increasing by more than 54 percent by 1989 (28 percent after adjusting for inflation)."

Yes, with all of the important problems the US has the republicans have been focusing all of their attention on bringing back to life an obsolete light bulb. It would be hysterically funny if we did't have other matters to attend to. They have become a party of Luddites. A cult of stupidity. Either they suffer from ADHD and they can't stay focused on things that matter, or they really don't know the difference. They spend more time trying to sabotage our government than trying to support it.
