I missed something... How did Kemp's two terms in the White House work out?

You need to look up the concept of "sacrificial lamb." That's what Ryan really is. A "true believer" in the voodoo of free market fiction. When reality hits the few left in the GOP with some common sense and integrity, they will understand that Ryan's grab is just reverse Robin Hoodism. Take from the middle class and give to the rich.

Surely all those kind and concerned health insurance companies will be working hard to get as many of Ryan's vouchers as they can before they break the bad news to sick American seniors that their policy is being dropped because they have suddenly discovered pre-existing conditions.

The only courage I see in Ryan is that of a two-bit punk who thinks he's the smartest kid in the room until he figures out he studied for the wrong test.

Because voters were unhappy with Democrats ???

Look to your own party's inadequacies . We’re on a roll...

Bill Hedges of MO 6:39PM April 18, 2011

Once your standards have been dropped you can't resurrect them just by wishing. After bush and palin its obvious that anybody can get the republican nomination , and just about anybody realizes it. The nuts and fruitcakes are going to come out of the woodwork, and like Trump they are going to draw big crowds and gain popularity. Because the republicans have been pushing extremist views , fear-mongering, spreading conspiracy theories, distorting the truth, their base now expects and appreciates this kind of nonsense. So count on fringe candidates to exploit the opening. The quality of republican candidates has been spriraling downward at least since bush. Its about to hit rock bottom. Sometimes you reap what you sow .

Where is your proof ???

I provide PROOF that it does. You just stroke the key board.

Bill Hedges of MO 5:15PM April 18, 2011

So McDonnell 'stays away from social issues' ?. Well, without that constant distraction won't the Republican voters start realizing that the party only cares about the wealthy amoung them ?.

He relies on delusional revenue increases trickling down from his proposed tax and spending cuts to close the gap in his budget, and only in then in 2030.

Both the debt commission's and president's proposals are far more realistic.

“I'm hoping someone can help me. I left on vacation last week, and when I got back, an entire war was missing. I've looked for it on all the major networks and cable outlets (excepting Fox News), as well as all the major newspapers. Although I've found hints that it still exists somewhere, President Obama's Libyan War is officially missing in action.”

_____

“Our most effective alliance, NATO [...] has taken command of the enforcement of the arms embargo and the no-fly zone [...] This transfer from the United States to NATO will take place on Wednesday. Going forward, the lead in enforcing the no-fly zone and protecting civilians on the ground will transition to our allies and partners."

Barack Hussein Obama

_____

“So transparent was his attempted charade that even liberal comedian Jon Stewart couldn't pass up the opportunity to chide Obama's silliness, exclaiming on The Daily Show in trademark fashion that in essence we are NATO. His frustration was echoed by other leftists like Brian Becker of the anti-war coalition ANSWER who explained, "That's a fraud. When the U.S. hands the mission to NATO, it's handing the mission over to itself." They're both right in the sense that from its inception, NATO has been a U.S.-led organization.”

The conservatives and independents are not in such a hurry to decide who is going to clean up this unorganized, unearthly landfill that this man-child, Obama, has created!

Obama's mess is beyond mountainous, beyond colossal, beyond paramount, a catastrophe beyond any earthy measure!

Who in H.E. double hockey sticks would be in their right mind to follow this totally inept fool???

If some level of this country’s populace is represented on these news network forums, I see that approximately 80-90% of the comments made on Fox News are pro-conservative. Fox News Cable Net has more viewers, listeners, and readers than all of the other news network media combined.

I also see that on this MSNBC forum, likewise, CBS, and even Media Matters, approximately 50-60% of the comments made are pro-conservative.

Now, the 18-year-old high school kids who were coerced by their liberal instructors to vote for Obama in 2008, are now approx. 22 years old and, guess what, most have now been subjected to the real world having been unable to

secure even a part-time job, gas prices are unaffordbly high as Obama, for “cap and trade” reasons, will not drill, higher academia tuition costs are at an all time high forcing students, who are now more susceptible to reason and rationality, to stay at home and listen to mom and pop, who are now “life educated”, and tell their kids about Obama's “blaming Bush rather than myself” syndrome, which incidentally, coincide with the tangible and intangible realities of this cruel world.

Another reality that has come to pass is that many or those who enthusiastically voted for Obama in 2008 have been exposed to the truth of “hope and change” will refuse to be duped again and vote conservative or independent. One sees this statement made time and again on all of these forums.

Appearances are that Obama will be gone in 2012, and I’m freaking loving it!

Have a terrific day.
