You American citizens who voted for this foreign, America- and West- hating, affirmative-action-baby radical Socialist demagogue scarecrow: you deserve whatever you got and will get under his yoke. And you are especially despicable and irresponsible if you you are middle-class White and in possession of what passes today for 'education'. The 'white guilt' that has been drummed into you by the universities and media for two generations has led you to aid and abet the piecemeal destruction of the great country your forebears left you. And most of you send or will send

your children to schools and colleges that will snuff out what little American values you armed them with at home.

Had enough yet?

Bush spent money like a Democrat-he worked the controlling party in congress-Dems-to spend money like a drunkin Yale student. Bush-One of the greatest Dem presidents ever.

KarlMarx of NE 12:01AM October 10, 2010

You never had to question if Bush was a Christian. You never doubted that Bush loved America. You never had to question Bush's respect or appreciation for America's armed forces. Can't say the same for this America hating Kenyan radical.

Just look at who he hung and hangs with. Obumma is a disgrace wolf. He couldn't lead you to the rest room. He is totally clueless.

Miss you George, even though you thoroughly peed me off over immigration.

If Obama is out of touch, what was bush? The guy was clueless. This is quite common wit ex alcoholics. I didn't hear you complaining while he was in office . Your credibility would improve if you were consistent. This is s big problem with wing nuts. Their inability to be consistent. It's almost as if their memory is shot.

He has suceeded as he says in making more progress on progressivism "socialism"than clinton or carter, and the damage may be as many fear ,generational. He despises traditional american values and every effort he makes is toward establishing a socialist state. These idealogues never learn from the long history of failed states and think this time, because of their high opinion of themselves, utopia will be achieved.

The war was on track to end before he got into office. Had McCain been elected it likely would have ended around now anyway. I will give him credit for endorsing the surge in Afghanistan, but it's a serious stretch for him to claim that HE ended the war in Iraq.

Bankerdanny of IL 8:12PM October 09, 2010

Obama does not know how to "manage" anything.

What has he ever effectively and efficiently managed in his whole life?

"Communities" he "oragnized?"

(And the Iraq draw down plans were put together by the Bush & Iraqi Administrations. NOT BHO.)

This is the main reason why the USA Founding Fathers abhorred Democracy & set up America as a Republican (representative) form of government under a strictly limiting Constitution...They were all well-educated & widely-read people who knew human history. They KNEW that Democracy never worked, because they saw the ultimate fates of those nations that practiced pure Democracies in history; they ALL failed.

In fact, The Founding Fathers' viewpoints were summed up by Thomas Jefferson when he referred to Democracy as "mob rule" because 51% of the people could vote away the Rights of the other 49%; only to find out later that once any Rights were gone, they were gone for EVERYBODY. Therefore, in a Democracy, all it takes is one highly charismatic individual to draw the thoughts & hearts of the People any way they want. History has a good example in Adolph Hitler; He wasn't "handsome" by any stretch of the imagination, but MAN, HE COULD TALK! He talked a Democratic Germany into giving him more & more power until he wound up becoming a dictator.

As far as Obama goes, even during the Presidential election campaigning, the way the "mainstream" media hyped up Obama as some sort of "messiah" or "savior" set off all kinds of alarm bells in the back of me head!

So I'd also like to thank the Democratic voters for voting on pure hype & faith on the lie that Obama truly is...How's that "Hope & Change" working out for you now?

Hmm... my first comment appears to have disappeared. I'll try again...

Democrats did not take control of Congress in 2008, they took over Congress in 2006. It is no coincidence that in Bush's final two years in office we saw a huge spike in spending. There are too many people in this country who don't understand that Congress writes the checks that the federal government spends. If you track congressional spending according to Democrat vs. Republican control of Congress, the correlation between the party in power and spending is striking. When Republicans control Congress, spending drops. When Democrats control Congress spending increases. This is true no matter who is President. In Reagan's two terms the periods where spending grew dramatically were when Tip O'Neal and the Democrats controlled Congress. In Clinton's two terms the periods where spending dramatically reduced and budgets were balanced were when Newt Gingrich and the Republicans controlled Congress.

People who are not aware of this are woefully, nearly criminally, misinformed and ignorant.

If you want to get spending under control, elect Republicans to the House and Senate. Period.

The whole Obama thing is just sad. To read fluff "news" pieces like this where current or former Obama supporters wring their hands and ask "how could Obama have become so out of touch?" just cracks me up.

In 2008 Obama was not the one out of touch. Those "rubes" (as Instapundit calls them) were the ones out of touch. You gullible maroons voted for an illusion. You voted for what you wanted to see, not what was clearly visible directly in front of you. People like me who warned you about the disastrous results of your fantasyland delusions were derided as racist or worse.

Well, here we are in 2010 and my opinion of Obama has not changed one bit. And it is getting proven more accurate by the day.

Obama is not the problem. Easily manipulated voters who bring their emotions instead of their heads into the voting booth are the problem.

And that means getting rid of Obama won't solve the problem. Those same people will fall for the next pretty face with a catchy slogan and we'll spend another decade trying to clean up the mess that is created. At least until there is nothing left of this country but melancholy memories of greatness lost.

Thanks all you Obama voters who are now crying about how you didn't know better.

Thanks a lot.

I like this part of the Obama quote: "...and manage two wars."

Not "WIN" two wars, but "manage" two wars.
