A Second Stimulus Will Not Fix the Economy

I know it's hard, but try and think like a businessman (yes I used the politically incorrect gender).

Your job is to focus on the bottom line . . . profits. That's what they are in business to do is GENERATE profits. Consider the American business environment: bureaucratic read tape, environmental restrictions, unions, high manufacturing costs, high labor costs (we all want more money and more benefits), etc. Why would any person in their right mind think they can turn a profit in America? Couple that with consumer demands for something for nothing. You know the, "I want my goods and services, but I don't want to pay too much" mind set. And we have problems. Then, let's compound the issues with the fact that there is a trade imbalance. We import more than we export.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to realize that businessmen, in response to consumer demand, are going to find a way to cheaply build and sell their widgets.

Tell me who wins out and is more competitive: the corporation that moves it's factories and production over seas where it pays cents on the dollar for labor and raw material versus the corporation that does "American made" and pays through the nose for health care benefits, salaries, and raw material? Duh.

What would you rather as a consumer a good camera at an inexpensive price or a good camera at an expensive price? Duh.

So the question is not flood the market with tax dollars when you haven't addressed the germain problems that business owners face. How about import restrictions? How about tax business less? How about reducing salaries, pensions, health care benefits, college tuition reimbursement programs, vacation days, sick days, 401K employer matching? How about removing environmental restrictions on everything? How about paying more for less? In fact, how about paying more for inferior quality. It's a tough pill to swallow, but guess what, these are things China doesn't have to deal with, consequently, corporations know it and exploit the disparity as they should. That's what makes them competitive and it's their job to turn profits.

HUNTER: The Ford Fiesta is being marketed to Americans. Buy a TV and watch the commercials (lots of them)! Also, with globalization we will have to make the same wages as the Chinese in order to compete. So get prepared for Republicans to tell you that $5,000 per year is a good wage in America.

BILL HEDGES: Here's the video where George Bush opens up mortgages to everyone with the republican controlled congress in 2002! The mortgage boom went unchecked by Bush who could have vetoed any bill out of congress. Bush was obsessed with getting as many people into a home as possible (great for the home building corporations).

Thanks HUNTER & BILL: The communists could never have achieved what they have without you guys and your friends. Thanks for selling out America in the name of free trade. Reagan would be ashamed of free trade and shipping entire industries to communist countries. Can you imagine Reagan saying, "we're going to send the USSR to the trash heap of history, but first, we will transfer our industry to the USSR and let them buy our debt such that we rely on them for stability of the dollar." Oh my!!!

It's INSANE to have free trade with countries that undercut us by destroying their environment and paying their workers poverty level wages. No problem though, we can do the same! Let's cut our union jobs and pay people the same here ($5,000 per year!) ! Then we can have 3 families living in each home (townhome that is...) all sharing one car! Great! Plus we can dump our toxic waste into the local rivers. Pesky EPA, take that! Then we can compete with the Chinese! Yay! Free trade is GREAT! THANKS REPUBLICANS FOR DESTROYING OUR STANDARD OF LIVING!

REPUBLICANS: You say you're against socialism, but Bush passed Medicare part D (a huge social health care program). Plus Tea Party members refuse to cut medicare or social security (don't cut my favorite socialist programs, I'm entitled to them! Even though I never put a cent into medicare part D!) while they yell "down with socialism!"

The REPUBLICANS have shifted money and power to communist countries like China by opening their markets. Turns out free trade has made China a very powerful country and ruined our manufacturing base, but the corporations are making record profits and that's what matters. Surprisingly some republicans think that China's communist anti-Christian leaders will someday wake up and support freedom. It hasn't happened. In fact, they are growing more hard line in their anti-freedom policies!

Tea party members yell "pride, charity, freedom, God, country" and then support leaders that send factories, money, and technology to countries that hate all these things. Americans will have to take a 70% pay cut in order to bring down the cost of production to meet China. A Chinese engineer making wind turbines makes $7,000 per year! (and they're very intelligent and qualified). Thanks REPUBLICANS!

Again, can anyone explain to me why the wing nuts want go spend trilions in Iraq and Afghanistan , yet they hate Muslims.they hate Islam. Wake up idiots . These are Islamic states, duh. On the one hand they want to burn down their mosques and burn the Quran . On the other they want To keep on pouring trillions into these countries coffers. Ther is a reason why they are called sing-nuts.
