Remember what the Contract on America left out of print: increasing the number and power of corporate lobbyists by 1000%.

Remember removing oversight and regulation from the crooks who stole their way into "our" Great Recession?

Yeah - order a copy of the book right away. Worth about as much as the last contract rightwing cretins took out on people who actually work for a living.

"With this administration, what we're seeing is not just an arrogant contempt for the cognitive ability and will of the American people but also a cynical determination to manipulate its will through indoctrination, selective suppression of speech, and trickery."

-from recent article by David Limbaugh-

Remember Bill Clinton. Never had a balanced budget in his life until Newt and the boys entered his life. Newt did not have enough votes to override veto. Is why government was shut down twice. Bill Clinton joined Newt.

Bill Clinton owes his Presidency to Newt and the boys.

Also Congress must pass funding for obama’s agenda. Cut off money and programs die a horrible death.

Fox is number one in the polls and leads # 2 CNN shows from 3 to 6 times more audience. Keep kicking Glenn Beck…

after reading your comments, which i fined most insightful,it sounds like you should run for public office.as to beck, limbaugh ect.their bellboys for the far right-wing of the g.o.p.and turning a fast buck at the same time.we all know there people from both party;s who only vote the party line, this is how we get a number of unfit people in office.

I believe Bill is also referring to the new incoming potus who will inevitably dump Obama in 2012. After which, repeals of Obama's corrurpted agenda will be flying rampantly, rendering that nincompoop the most useless, time and taxpayer money-wasting, US President that ever existed!

...You do realize that Obama has veto power over any repeal bill, right?

I guess you don't know that Democrats have a whole lot of members in both sides of Congress. Go ahead and blame Republicans. Lucky for America big change is expected in November.

Then enjoy repeal of barry's agenda...

As a former Republican, now and independent, I applaud you for asking folks to look at what these candidates have done, their successes and what they would do other than collect a terrific salary with extreme benefits and retirement.

It would also be credible for you to point out the misinformation that is spewed from Limbaugh, Beck, and others that continue to keep folks off focus of what real issues are and what have the elected have actually done while in office. Of course we can't depend on ourselves to take a look at the congressional record, that would be too hard for a lot of people to do and the political machines depend on the poorly informed voters to continue to form their vote on misinformation and innuendo.

I, for one, do not understand this surge for "freedom". Freedom costs money. Shipping jobs overseas, eroding our tax base, does not constitute freedom. At this point in time, the GOP blocking any vote for the support of monies for small business is just plain insidious politics. Small business is the most important aspect of our economy and the largest producer of jobs. Keeping people unemployed does not constitute freedom. Reducing taxes at this point does not constitute freedom and those that want not the Bush tax code not to expire ( the reason they don't want to help out small business) need to understand that (and I know that they do) we have to buy back our debt and this costs money. There is no freedom if we cannot pay our debt and continue to borrow money from China.

Unfortunately for all of us is the knowledge that there are many who will only vote for the GOP candidates no matter if they are good or bad for the country or their constituents because we have a president of color. How insidious is this?

One would think the important issues at this time would be a huge reduction in unemployment, control and and a plan to pay down our debt, reduction of the defense budget as proposed and let other countries depend on themselves for their own primary defense and most definitely stop sending billions of dollars overseas when we clearly need to rebuild our own infrastructure among so many other things.

Thank you for allowing me this forum to state my opinion.

Time seem ripe for number 2.

A little research will find one in the making. One was mentioned by a author on this site. Maybe authors here do not read each others articles.

I say stay calm. Chill. Good things come to those that wait.

Today we may hear how barry won the war in Iraq. Can he keep a straight face ? I look forward to seeing him smoke for first time while giving this speech. With Gallup polls showing Republicans yes, Democrats no. barry has lost his luster.

We know what the people want. Near everything not barry. Top of the list obamacare. Stop anymore stimulus spending. Spending out of recession is ludicrous. Make government business friendly again. Extend all Bush cuts lowering the taxes of those who pay taxes. Not the free loaders. Jobs is #1 #2 & #3. Not padding unions pension funds.

We have Democrats helping us distancing themselves form this administration with ads attacking barry and Pelosi. Free Republican ads paid by for by Democrat party. Thank you so much. Democrats trying to deny their allegiants to barry will be sounded defeat. Will any running Democrat proudly support barry ? Maybe Reid and Boxer.

By yourself new rocking chairs Democrats. Large takeover change in Congress is expected. Maybe bigger than 1922.

Well, if history is a good indicator - then not for long, or by much.

I would be satisfied if all that was accomplished by the next election was that I didn't have to look at faux-Catholic, Nancy Pelosi's smug, imperious, puckered puss anymore.

I admit I have low expectations - I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than be disappointed....again.
