Did not put quotes in " ". "10,000 GOP scandals ?". Then beginning with "Obama Channels Cheney" to the link...

It does not take long to disprove Steve’s comment.

“Bush administration firings of U.S. attorneys deemed legal “

July 22, 2010

WASHINGTON -- “The Bush administration's Justice Department's actions were inappropriately political, but not criminal, when it fired a U.S. attorney in 2006, the Justice Department said Wednesday in closing a two-year investigation without filing charges.”

“Investigators looked into whether the Bush administration improperly dismissed nine U.S. attorneys, in particular New Mexico U.S. Attorney David Iglesias, to influence criminal cases.”

“The scandal added to criticism that the administration had politicized the Justice Department, a charge that contributed to the resignation of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales.”

Steve just rambles things off with no bother to their accuracy.

Karl Rowe was threatened but never went to trial. Well investigated. That says innocent in the law and in my book.

10,000 GOP scandals ? Steve. Are you exaggerating ?

Wire tapping Steve:

Obama Channels Cheney

Obama adopts Bush view on the powers of the presidency.

The Obama Justice Department has adopted a legal stance identical to, if not more aggressive than, the Bush version. It argues that the court-forced disclosure of the surveillance programs would cause "exceptional harm to national security" by exposing intelligence sources and methods. Last Friday the Ninth Circuit denied the latest emergency motion to dismiss, again kicking matters back to Judge Walker.

I’ve destroyed enough of your comment Steve. Do try again.

Bushies Behaving Badly

An illustrated guide to GOP scandals.

I would think outing Valerie Plame would be enough to sink the GOP forever. Outing a CIA agent in the field. You GOP thugs would sure impune anyone elses patriotism for something that serious. And Rove did it on spite alone. You guys are such retards.

Having a hard time keeping track of all 10,000 GOP scandals? Between fired U.S. attorneys, deleted RNC e-mails, sexually harassed pages, outed CIA agents, and tortured Iraqi prisoners—not to mention the warrantless wiretapping, plum defense contracts, and golf junkets to Scotland—you could be forgiven for losing track of which congressman or Bush administration flunky did which shady thing. Renzi—now, was that the guy with the skeezy land deal? Or the woman Paul Wolfowitz promoted?

We're not saying that Democrats never do anything shady. (Cash-stuffed freezers come to mind.) But as the saying goes, with great power come great opportunities to screw up royally. And if your memory is as hazy as ours, you could probably use a handy refresher:

Here's a bunch of GOP linked scumbags. Oh by the way. Anyone remember enron? They ruined the lives of their long time employees over greed. Democrats have never done that!! No wonder Obama was elected. People got sick of the GOP's culture of corruption. And all the anti-gay nonsense from the GOP. After Mark Foley of Florida some suggested that the GOP's new slogan should be "no child's behind left!!" But I digress.

Here's a funny. How many Republicans can you fit in a closet? Apparently, all of them!!

No doubt forgotten by most news media. Reflects on barry to some degree. Never fear Fox News is covering this daily. Fox has “Blago watch”.

Suzy K. of IL

Glad you admit you would find him innocent because of you prejudice. No fair trial with you as juror. Admiral trait in IL am sure ? You must adore barry and his motley crew.

Al Capone feed the people during the Depression. Soup and bread to the masses forgives Al of his sins in Chicago. The windy City. Suzy your “social considerations”, would you let Al Capone off.

Bill Hedges of MO 5:55PM August 11, 2010

Many older folks are grateful to Blago for free transportation, and with the federal government setting the example on non-enforcement of laws and cronyism, I think there's a new national spirit that rule of law is secondary to social considerations. I know if I were on the jury I'd probably acquit Rod just to spit the Feds for their arrogant and open corruption on enforcing immigration laws. Why should Washington and Wall St. have a monopoly on cronyism and ignoring rule of law to further self interest? What's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. This is a democracy.

Suzy K. of IL 3:10PM August 11, 2010

I believe that Blago is up on 27 separate charges. Those take a lot of time to work through individually. It may be that some are decided and some have the jury split.

Bob of TX 12:25PM August 11, 2010

Half of the jury box are Blagojevitch's hired thugs! This is Chicago, remember?!?
