And needed a new sound and look.
So I was hired without my shirt.
My sex appeal was all it took.
Viral went my virility.
The ladies - each stood by her man.
She looked at him, then looked at me.
And that's when Old Spice hit the fan.
The social networks are abuzz.
I've given Old Spice life anew.
The smell's the same as always 'twas,
But that's just between me and you.

Isaiah Mustafa's on-air persona is one of the key reasons for the success of the commercials and video responses. He is so over-the-top that it is obvious he is not taking himself seriously. Well done do Old Spice and Mustafa.

As 53 year old that has never worn old spice: now, look at him, now look at me ....no I don't look like him, but maybe.... I can smell like him, but wait, no that's not me, that's him.....this is just a crazy fantasy......
