His name is mud for a reason. They can spend more now under Obama and create more debt and larger deficits than anyother president in history. but it's Bushs fault. A bunch of MORONS!!

The main problem with the Obama administration's response is that it has been content to do pressers and cross its fingers on BP's chances of stopping the leak. Yes, if a Republican had been in the Oval office and did the same thing that Obama is doing, there'd be a howl out in the country. Truth be told, there are those Democrats that are torn by their disappointment with Obama's timid approach and corporate appeasment attitude, but they dare not accuse him lest they be deemed disloyal and conceivably helping to return the GOP to power.

PLEASE, THIS MAY BE A LEARNING MOMENT FOR THE TEA PARTY,DR PAUL AND SARA PALIN. You Gulf states need to GET REAL you sold out to

BIG OIL a long time ago.....and now youv'e "FOULED YOUR OWN NEST"'

...so it's time to blame somebody....lets blame Obama...or better

yet the Federal Government(a traditional boogyman in the South)..

....if that won't work...."stuff happens" as Ryan Paul would opion.

Well, why is it that the Northeastern states and the West didn't buy into offshore drilling?

Too risky?

Dr. Pauls solution to this problem is to let BIG OIL self-regulate.

If you Gulf states buy that, you deserve what you get.

You don't remember that the Repubs lost their majority because of the rediculous overspending?

You don't remember the MSM trying to crucify McCain for voting against Bush's tax cut as a means to smear him? When McCain was the one one ( Dem and Repub) who insisted on spending cuts at the same time?

You don't remember Dems getting a lot of pork during Bush's years?

You don't remember that the seeds of the Tea Party movement were planted during the Bush years BECAUSE of the runaway spending?

And on, and on, and on.......

Seems you don't remember much, or maybe it's a selective memory issue...........

Or maybe it's just the typical "redirection" tactic favored by so many : Just what does the spending of the Repubs have to do with Mary's post?

You want to talk double standard. Why is it the republicans never complained about the wasteful spending and borrowing during bush's nightmare reign. But now that Obama is in the white house that is all they can talk about . It takes a lot of nerve to harp about spending now after their lousy record. So , if you can explain that double standard we can talk about your oh so terrible injustice of an oil double standard.

Give Clive Cussler a jingle - He's 80 years old but he could probably figure the leak thing out. I'm sure he's writin' a book about the mess right now.

Now, regarding the clean up - Bubba and Junior have a vid on UTube - shows B.P. how to clean up the mess. Hay, straw, whatever - seems to work pretty well.

Shame,on all those trying to push blame for this oil disaster on each other. It is no more Obamas'fault as it was Bushs'fault for Katrina. Should we sympathize with those effected? Yes! Should we help financially those effected? YES! Isn't this the American Way? It seems like BP and our Government can equip the current boats the commercial fishermen use; and pay them to help clean up.Even if BP and our Government replaced there old oil damaged vessels with new ones after it was all said and done would be a fair thing to do,than everyone could carry on with there god given talents; and life would go on as usual . Wow that would employ the fishermen and put others to in some temporary jobs to build the replacement boats. The resteraunts that rely on the seafood brought forth from the gulf could get subsidized for paying a little more for shipping seafood in. The Government and BP and anyone else who gets these kick backs from oil drilling are responsible, right down to the American citizen. After all I believe our oil prices are driven by supply and demand. I am a registered Democrate and I am ashamed at my soon to be x-partie and all those far left Democrates that don't understand the dollar or what true Humanity is. Accidents happen! Nature happens! We deal, we live and we grow stronger. So Just do it and Get-ur-done.
