Sarah Palin, Tea Party Leaders, Must Condemn Healthcare Threats

I hold people like Sarah Palin directy responsible for the ugly turn politics has taken. Democracy doesn't mean complete agreement and compliance, it means debate and being willing to compromise. Right now the Republicans would rather stonewall or just take their marbles and go home, and the far-right crazy people are being encouraged to riot, scream, and spit. Issuing a map with bulleye targets, urging people to "take back" their government, allowing continued racial slurs and other horrible behavior, constantly showing disrespect for our president and other members of the administration is reprehensible. People are angry because they may have lost their jobs, their homes, their investments, maybe their health care. Sarah Palin ought to be leading, instead of inciting, and so should all the other Republicans who so far show little inclination to listen to anyone at all. When someone is assassinated, they will need to accept responsibility for creating the environment for that to happen.
