it is obvious there is need for reform of health care but if any of these plans get through we are all screwed. why do you think the republicans fight it? this country is already over its head in dept from those retarded bailouts the commie democrats and sell out republicans put into place when, and right before Obama was elected. Now when i grow up i'll have to pay those bills off, and then my kids will have to keep paying them off. its ridiculous, they knew it would break the economy so when nobody can pay for healthcare (the BEST IN THE WORLD i might add) those commies can make us all dependant on the system. Everyone shoud be able to get care, but destroying the system in place is not the way to go about it. like i said we have the best healthcare in the world why do you think people in countries with government dependant health care come to The U.S to get operations, because they CAN'T get it at home these so called reforms will make everyone pay for crappy healthcare.

If conservatives dont take charge soon this country is going to go places it has always been afraid to go, with democrats dragging us down with "the best intentions"

Okay, not literally, but it's nowhere near the actual middle.

The 'dramatically left-of-center' choice would have been a single payer system, and the dems were fools for not suggesting it from the start. Medicare for all. Boom! You've solved the nation's health care crisis - no more patients dying because they can't pay for care, no more denial of benefits because of bogus preexisting conditions, no more bankruptcies because of greedy, profit-driven insurance companies.

The left has been consistently generous to the right in this issue, and they've gotten nothing back but scorn and ridicule. Heck, by now, I'd be happy to settle for the mandated Health care all Massachusetts citizens enjoy, and which Scott Brown voted for just a few years ago.

Is it really so offensive to want to save lives, save money, and fix an obviously broken system?
