Get a grip dude. It's an event when the odometer rolls over. Nobody cares when it hits the first mile.

Of course, the current crop of teabagger Republicans think that Hitler was a liberal and that fascism is a leftist philosophy. That should tell you where they stand on the political spectrum. Amazingly, they admit and even argue (proudly!) that they are to the right of Hitler and the Nazis. Ironically, these same people complain about our educational system.

That would probably end up being historically accurate, as the current knucklehead-in-chief seems determined to destroy whats left of this nation. Funny, when this ship sinks, the dole-addicted rats futilely clinging to it probably won't realize it until they find that their lungs don't work well under water but it will be too late by then. Free cheese, anyone?

The Cheney - Bush mis - administration made it possible for the obscenely wealthiest miniscule percentage of the world to become even more bloated. The Iraq war was a source of wealth re - distribution through Halliburton , Blackwater and other "no bid" contracts designed to shift wealth and power to the wealthiest 3 % of our society. These cretinous politicians and companies should be reviled now the present as they will be in historical memory. They have taken the Republican party which, though rightfully considered retroactive and conservative, had at least a respectable intellectual base and contorted it into a mindless mob of ignorant catch phrase spewing dullards led by a cadre of talk radio

pseudo-intellectual bile jockeys who are paid millions of dollars to tell the lazy and weak minded what it is they should believe and say. WAKE UP PEOPLE.Learn and think for yourselves.

Our most important office was handed to Bush by a Supreme Court Justice. It gave Bush his chance to enrich his supporters with enormous "contracts to provide war materiel, security, & means to destroy-rebuild." It was the decade of tax theft so vast that Congress now says we CANNOT AFFORD A TAX PAID NATIONAL HEALTH PLAN. Some lawmakers are honest enough to say Bush-Cheney lied to them to get Bush started on his TaxForWar routine. Rice at last said she did ignore warnings that Muslims were training to fly but not land airplanes. I can't list all the books now on the market, too late giving details of the Great Bush-Cheney Raid on Public Treasuries. We saw what happened to Ambassador Wilson after he reported that Iraq was not getting uranium from Africa. His wife's hard-earned career was wrecked but Bush is safely retired at his ranch. I wonder how many shares will go to his family now that ownership of oil concessions has now been decided in Iraq. Pres. Obama is doing all he can to try to use taxes for the purpose they are collected. He must get us out of the Middle East and close the many bases we now support in many nations. They're all pseudo-states.

The decade should be known as the lost decade. I shouldn't have to explain.
