Democrats Should Focus on Unemployment, Not Healthcare

You know being one of the counted unemployed and not having the benefits of being able to see a doctor or dentist, especially when I almost died from a high fever maybe.. I can offer a simple solution.

Since most Americans can't see that they are already paying for medical insurance for people here in America that have never contributed one cent into the program that allows them to see doctors.

Okay, as I see it everyone is worried that we will be taxed for whatever health care plan that the Government offers, and their right we will be! Unless... we stand up and say "No More Taxing Us" if you want to implement a program use the money that we (our Government) sends to other countries. I don't think that we should be funding anything outside of our country as long as we are in such bad shape ourselves. Wasn't it just a few years ago that they military misplaced 7.3 trillion dollars? I'm not sure if most of you know just how many zeros that is behind a digit that makes a trillion. Maybe it's because they say it like it's nothing that gives that impression. All I know is that if we phase out programs that aren't working, stop sending other countries money we don't have, we'd have more than enough money to implement a health care plan, extend our unemployment benefits and not cent of it would have to come from a new tax.

As an immigrant who used to prepare immigration applications, I must point out that every year one million legal immigrants, at least half a million illegal migrants, plus hundreds of thousands of “guest workers” continue to enter the U.S. Many of these foreign-born people will also have children born in the U.S. Although some immigrants are assets to the U.S., do President Obama, Congress and other American leaders realize that more people essentially means more jobseekers, patients, students, welfare recipients, polluters?

According to the March 2007 Current Population Survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau, about one-third of all foreign-born lacked health insurance; immigrants and their U.S.-born children under 18 accounted for nearly one third of all people in the U.S. without health insurance and more than 70 percent of the growth of the uninsured population in the U.S. According to a 10/26/9 Thomson Reuters report , waste in the U.S. healthcare system could total up to $850 billion a year

Instead of enacting some sort of immigration moratorium so that we will have a chance to substantially lower unemployment and achieve sensible healthcare reform, President Obama and many members in Congress are misleading Americans with “comprehensive immigration reform” -- amnesty for possibly 20 million illegal migrants and massive guest worker visas . If this “reform” is enacted, it could add 200 million U.S. and foreign-born relatives of legalized people and “guest workers” to the U.S. over the next 20 years! Do we have jobs or resources to provide healthcare for these newcomers? Meanwhile, little has been done to seriously teen pregnancies totaling 750,000 a year nationwide!

When will American leaders stop burying their heads in the sand?

What about a mans right to choose? what about a Fathers right to choose life for his child? what about the childs right to try to be born without being ripped out of existence? The womans right to choose and the mans right to choose was BEFORE a baby was made, that is the choice and they still have it. Abortions are not performed for rape and incest and health risk reasons, but for convenience reasons. Let's see the documentations of how many times a doctor suggested aborting a baby because the baby itself may have health issues, but the parents went on to have a completely healthy child. And who are doctors to decide what type of life is worth keeping or discarding?

Congratulations, "affordable health care" on it's way. (cost of health care may go down, but taxes will skyrocket! and the health care will prob. make you sick- but at least it will be "affordable" and almost everyone will have it)

Subject: Government Take Over of Health Care in America...OOps.. I meant "reform".!

I can't mention ALL the wonderful things that now lie ahead in our very near future, for America and her children yet to be born. (you'll see the evidence of these "great" reforms soon enough) Here are just a few...

Get ready to SWITCH YOUR HEALTH CARE INSURANCE PROVIDER to the new Government Run Health Care System! Yeah!....,

OR ... pay a FINE! / "tax", for selecting your own, ..

OR ... if you don't like the governments health care system and CAN'T AFFORD the one your employer "MIGHT still offer" (IF they can afford it after their tax increase for employee health care), just get ready for your $250,000.00 FINE and / or IMPRISONMENT! !!!! Yeah!!!!!

ISN'T THAT GREAT!!!!!!

Not to mention that you will need a government health card., (like your social security card or meidicare card), government knowledge of your banking information (to verify how much money you have, as well as your income verification, and how much money you have spent and will spend, on healthcare annually)

Oh - and did you know that you will get an "appointed" Health Care Insurance CZAR? (no need for election, his powers will be only minimal.. "almost' limitless"). He will make all of those pesky decisions for you that you probably won't want to make, like ... if you qualify for care, how much you are "entitled to", when you may receive it, how much it will cost you, if your needs are "cost effective" for the overall health care government run system... Sounds Great!, ..right?

Wonderful coverage for Everyone that we've all waited so long for! Why simply "reform" when you can take over the whole system, have control of all the funds, tax the people to pay for every penny of it with no limitations in sight.,tax the people even more if they don't want to participate, fine the ones who don't want to get involved at all., imprison them if that doesn't bring them around, give everyone health care even those who say they are legal but have no documentation to prove it, also those

There are programs for a person as yourself. If qualified there is medicaid and medicare.

A private insurance company can not simple drop you. Must have reason or you can sue.

However government plan can. Without your ability to sue. Oregon State plan refused expensive pills to ill woman with cancer. Offered her pills to kill herself.

All you have to do is look at Canada and States with State health insurance. Hawaii dropped their State health plan.

If you cost too much, government can cut you off.

I have had so many surgeries and illnesses that no insurance companies will touch me. I'm really angry at the Republicans for not even acknowledging that I exist. There are people dieing and our trusted servants can't be trusted enough to do something about this. The republicans have more compassion for those in Iraq and elsewhere than they do for we the people. The anger throughout this country is getting worse every day. It won't be long for somebody to come unglued about this issue and I hope it doesn't get too ugly when it happens.

There is no faster way to create half million new jobs than in support services for 36M uninsured that would suddenly go get healthcare if they were covered. For example, doctors/nurses complain that they spend a third of their time in paperwork. Many of today's unemployed could do those support jobs with a little training and help free up time for doctors/nurses to take care of patients.

In addition, they would come off unemployment line which IS adding to the deficit.

What's really scary is that a lot of folks w/ jobs today are in real danger of being laid off. Then their unemployment check goes toward Cobra or they loose their healthcare. This is a no-brainer. Congress should not be dragging this out, they should pass and implement healthcare immediately.

The Demoncraps don't care one bit abotu the people all they care about is power. When you call their offices they are arrogant and dismissive. They will pay dearlly for this in the next election and I can't wait to hear them cryiong when they joined the ranks of the unemployed.

The Healthcare bill is a disaster for America.
