He has a way of wooing people into his weightless speeches. As with most all other politicians on either side of the fence, rhetoric is a great way to influence votes. Then there are those who are too embarrassed to say they voted for the person who try to justify their weak decision in the voting booth.

The truth, speech is cheap. What you say you are going to do carries a lot of weight with voters. They like empty promises. Remember, Georgia H.W. Bush - "read my lips, no new taxes." Nothing is different with Obama.

People vote for what he said he would do -- not for his political strength, his non-existent track record, or his miniscual experience in Washington. The shallow voters wanted a "saviour" and Obama tugged on their heart strings. You can't slight him for that, it won the election for him. You can accuse him of misleading the voters to "believe" in him, that he was actually capable of demanding and getting things done. He ain't no dictator.

His rocky road ahead will be a tough one. I'm afraid he's thrown many of the rocks into his own path.

It is funny that since obama has been president everyone's a critic. where were these critics when bush was in office? where were the denials and fights and protests when he was running this country into the ground? where were your opinions when all these billions of dollars were being handed out to the banks and not being properly accounted for? where were you then? when we almost had another great depression pressing at our heels where were you? So let me guess because he trying to change policies and implement something different he wrong and doesn't know what he is doing. So a better choice would have been to let sarah palin or someone of her calibur run this country right? with her experience? Suuurrreee, she can't even finish a term, G_D forbid Obama did that he would have been rung through the ringer. All you critics give a Break, all this fighting between the demos and repos are not in our best interest. if everyone would stop fighting for their party and fight for us the people maybe we would see that change that myself and the i know the majority of the country is longing for.

Let's face it, Obama is inexperienced in leading this country and he behaves like he is an actor on stage. The problem is....this is REAL LIFE and WE are at stake!!! Should we be lucky enough to survive his presidency, I pray everyone will vote him out of office and vote in a REAL man for President! This country can become great again with true leadership from someone who loves America and not this imposter who runs around blaming America for imagined faults and sounds like he doesn't begin to appreciate the accomplishments of this great country and ambitious, generous people! I am ashamed of Obama,NOT the United States of America!

How can you call putting the country nearly a trillion dollars in debt an achievement? A Symulus package that a lot of states don't want because if they get it they are told where to spend it, not where they need to spend it. And I wish everyone would stop being a hyporite, no one cried about skits about George Bush, tip of the hat to SNL for finally having a go at this useless president.

GET A LIFE OF OUR OWN? EXCUSE ME BUT THIS IS MY LIFE AND HE IS MY LEADER OF THE COUNTRY I LIVE IN....SO YEA HIS LIFE AND HIS DECISIONS DIRECTLY AFFECT MY LIFE!!!

Since when do we allow comedians to dictate how we judge our President and whether or not they are re-electable? SNL has always lampooned the accommplishments AND mistakes of our leaders. It is done for entertainment value.

Why is it that when they do the same thing to this President it all of a sudden is equal to his demise as our leader. Just let the man do his job.

Get a life of your own.

HB 1388 PASSED

You just spent $20,000,000 to move members/supporters of Hamas, a terrorist organization, to the United States ; housing, food, the whole enchilada.

HB 1388 PASSED

Whether you are an Obama fan, or not, EVERYONE IN THE U. S. needs to know....

It wasn ' t mentioned on the news... just went by on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN screen.

Obama funds $20M in tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to the USA . This is the news that didn't make the headlines...

By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the

expenditure of $20.3 million in "migration assistance" to the Palestinian refugees and "conflict victims" in Gaza.

The "presidential determination", which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States , was signed and appears in the Federal Register.

Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order

provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

Let's review....itemized list of some of Barack Obama ' s most

recent actions since his inauguration:

His first call to any head of state, as president, was to Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.

His first one-on-one television interview with any news

organization was with Al Arabia television.

His first executive order was to fund/facilitate abortion(s) not

just here within the U. S. , but within the world, using U. S. tax payer funds.

He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of

detainees halted.

He ordered overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.

He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and the "terror attack" on 9/11.

Now we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of

Palestinian refuges to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense.

These important, and insightful, issues are being "lost" in the

blinding bail-outs and "stimulation" packages.

Doubtful? To verify this for yourself:

It seems to me that SNL hit nail on the head, and this blogger finished the nail off. Obama hasn't come through on any of his major campaign promises, his accomplishment listed on "every independant fact checking site" only tell half the story. His Credit card reform has just as much bad in it, as it has good (Curbing unethical late fees = good, passing on the payments of delinquent payments to responsable people paying their share = bad) He probably isn't any better or worse than McCain would have been, seems to be the MO to become POTUS is say what they want to hear to get elected then it doesn't matter that you lied to everybody to get there once your there. This President does have the fortunate advantage to be following behind an idiot, but the blame game has run it's course.

Another thing he has done in record time is alienate & villify half the country and further divide the entire nation, great job! He seems to be instigating and encouraging this divide. Although Republicans have resorted to just as many of the tactics displayed, Democrats however, have resorted to the most of the unappauling tactics. Yelling at town halls are not the way to go, but neither is turning a blind eye to corruption, or expecting the world to turn into puppy dogs & chocolate candies overnight without anybody paying for it. The sad part of it is until Americans start paying attention in thier local/state/federal elections, I see no "hope or change" in our future.

To DavidBronx of NY, (and Muser of NM as well)

Ok here you go, The tax cuts to the rich, are not the reason our mfg. industries have gone overseas. It was solely all taxes imposed upon them during every democratic ran Congress! It's the unneccesary taxes placed upon our manufacturers that are reason unemployment is up. You also said it was the republicans who are responsable for the bailouts. However, it seems to me that Congress was controlled by Democrats? It also stands to be disputed, that with the exception Clinton (Lucky beneficiary of the dot.com boom) during every Democratic ran Congress we have had economic problems over the last 35 years or so. No, lies or deceit just facts, tax cuts to the rich work, how else do you expect to get hired (last time I checked poor people aren't starting new businesses.) I will agree Bush went overboard with his regime with spending (but the Clinton surplus argument doesn't hold any water when all he did was rob from Social Security to account for the majority of it and I return you to the dot.com comment above) Bush did however, have to go to war when the towers were attacked. Iraq also was under the rule of an evil dictator who was commiting crimes against humanity (People who look at Iraq war solely faught over WMD's, are the same people who think the Civil War was faught solely over slavery.)
