BLAH,Blah,Say What? You either believe life exsits at conception or it doesn't. Yes, I believe that this person has a Spirit that GOD gives to each "INDIVIDUL" and that we have no right to decide Him or Hers fate.

I get amused by those who find spousal abuse, rape, the death penalty so horrible and why don't we do something about it - but are pro-choice.

Well, if a mother can kill her child in her womb up to nine months and the law allows it, why not abuse, murder, maim someone outside it? Abortion, guns, knives, etc. cause DEATH. And, abortion ALWAYS results in death!

Talk to a young child who sees her mother carrying an unborn child. If that lump disappears tomorrow and they find out why they will grow up with the sense that mommies can just get rid of their little kids if they want to. Teenagers, optional, Life, not priceless!

For those who say they are pro-choice but wouldn't choose abortion themselves: well, you are looking the other way when you could be protecting the life of an innocent. This is a human being. This will not be a dog, or a tumor, this will be a human being exactly like a child in the delivery room of a hospital. Carrying a life within you for nine months is less horrible than a "doctor" pulling bloody pieces of you out of a safe womb. At least in the first instance, you will be alive and can give the baby up to many who would love your baby. Too many need to go to other countries to adopt a child.

If you are for LIFE, you are for protecting ALL innocent life. Otherwise, you are disengenuous. You are saying one life (the woman) is more important than another (the unborn baby).

This is pretty much why the disabled get very angry at those who try to say one human is more important than another. We have forgotten the inherent dignity of ALL human beings.

If you say you "My husband and I both favor the woman's right to choose in the first trimester." You are PRO-abortion. You can't say you are anti-abortion and then turn around and say you are pro-abortion, which being "pro-choice" is. It is disingenuous, at the very least. If you consider yourself "pro-choice" then what is the choice? You want a woman to be able to kill her child in the "first trimester." That is pro-abortion. At least be honest with yourselves and us.

The child at 2 days gestation is no less human than the child at 2 trimesters, just smaller. This is science, not religion. I agree with you, remove religion from the argument - in some ways it becomes even more horrific to do this because science clearly states that the developing child is fully human at the moment of conception. See 8th circuit court ruling on South Dakota informed consent law - the government agrees with science and has affirmed the wording of this law, that there exists a "separate, unique, living, human being" at the time of conception.

So by removing religion and relying only on science, you seem to state that a woman has the right to kill the separate and unique human in her uterus based solely on that human's geographic location and smaller size. Science shows there is no difference except size and geographic location between the mother and the child - both are human beings. Yet you think the larger human should be able to kill the smaller human at will, simply because of convenience.

That makes no sense, does it?

Most people are anti-abortion - most decent ones anyway. My husband and I - if asked - would say in a survey were were anti-abortion.

BUT - ANOTHER QUESTION THAT MUST FOLLOW - we are also NOT in favor of the government prohibiting abortion. We both favor the woman's right to choose in the first trimester.

The survey had many questions, and when all assembled, showed the public is very much against legislating a ban on legal abortion.

People need to stop telling others how to live, and stop trying to impose their religious views on others. I respect differing opinions, and I think it is reasonable that people must reconsile themselves with their ownbeliefs n this one.

Stop trying to engineer a result.

The Dark Side of Abortion -- many times it is not the

woman's choice to abort her child. Boy friends, parents

and even husbands pressure the woman into an abortion.

Even if a woman gives into their boy friend, 99 percent of the time he will leave her anyway. In the case of incest it is

Fix, Repair and then Use again....

All of this hell-raising could be avoided if the government could just get to work on a bio-synthetic robo-womb. Endangered fetuses could be safely transferred into the seven foot wide robo wombs where they would remain until the nine month gestation had ended.

Dear Brad of TX,

When I read your comment I immediately thought, how terribly cold this person's heart must be. How can you possibly "take heart" in the forced STOPPING of innocent hearts?..millions of innocent hearts every year!

If you were born after 1973 more than one-third of your classmates were murdered through abortion. No war, no plague, and no other injustice has shed so much blood in our history - not even the institution of slavery. Someday, (and the day will come), when abortion is outlawed and America reflects on its past, it will see abortion for what it truely is - a terrible evil, equal and on par with the evil of slavery. As Dr. Alvina King so rightly put it, "The prolife movement is the civil rights movement of our time." I think the American public is finally starting to see the light on this issue, and all it took was a socialist president making advances in what Pope John Paul II rightly called the "Culture of Death."
