Approvingly your article helped me terribly much in my college assignment. Hats off to you post, will look forward in the direction of more interdependent articles without delay as its sole of my favourite question to read.

Joan,

I would guess by your comments that you had someone type your response since you are obliviously a moron and thus unable to type it yourself. If you had traveled to the region you would have observed that it takes very little to inflame Muslim population especially when whipped into a frenzy by Islamic terrorists. I’m also sure that you blamed us for 9/11. When you wake up for your chemical induced stupor you will see what you and your ilk are turning this country into (if there is anything left). You are also most likely against law abiding citizens from owning guns as well. Why don’t you move to Europe. Your attitude matches their attitude matches theirs. They won’t fight for their freedom anymore than you will.

I’ll let you pick the appropriate definition that best fits you (or your friend that typed your entry can read it to you):

Moron

1. a person who is notably stupid or lacking in good judgment;

2. a person of borderline intelligence in a former classification of mental retardation, having an intelligence quotient of 50 to 69.

I can tell you why the ACLU is not concerned. The ACLU has been anti-American for years. They only protect convicted criminals, foreign enemies of America, and anyone else who is against the true values of the American people. When was the last time you heard of them actually standing up for anyone that has stood up for America. The ACLU is run by Marxists and should be eliminated.

Naive fools. There is no value whatsoever in releasing these photos, other than to have a few of you feel better about yourselves. To second guess people frantically trying to prevent the next 911 (or worse) from the safe, cushy confines of 2009 is as hypocritical as it absurd.

I suggest you sniveling do-gooders book the first flight to Pakistan and see how long your skinny white neck lasts among these barbarians. As the old saying goes, only a fool takes a knife to a gunfight.

Idiots! You truly don't deserve to survive!

To think that releasing those pics would escalate violence is absurd.

We think that the terrorists do not know what we have done to theirs? We think that released prisoners or their lawyers have kept these things secret?

No, usually we Americans are the LAST to know. Usually, it is other countries complaining that they caught a US spy or that we torture and we keep saying 'no' until we learn otherwise.

It is just dumb to think that our enemies do not know what we have done to theirs. Probably the only ones who don't know are US.

Why keep it from us?

Could it have something to do with our wanting to prosecute the guilty administration for war crimes?

Do you think more of us would be up in arms if we knew what was being done in our name by the administration that we elected, all in the name of some fictitious democracy or some ugly God?

How hyporical of those who are willing to abort an unborn fetus with out a blink of an eye. Yet are willing to fight to stop what " you " call torture for people who would think nothing of cutting your head off with a dull knife! If they have their way all freedoms and our way of life would not exist. There is no compromise with these people. It's winner take all.

Thomas Young of CA 9:15AM May 14, 2009

Anyone that goes to the mid-east ends up corrupted. They have always had torture, now we are doing it. Since we are ok with doing it to anyone deemed to be 'enemy', that means it's ok for them to do the same to us. A soldier friend says "wrong, they have always had torture, now it's our turn". I guess that would justify Hitler's actions as being ok.

You may benefit greatly from stopping your intake of Obama Kool-Aid.

The folks in the White House are definitely bright enough to know what effects releasing the pictures will have. To suddenly about-face as if this were only just discovered is disingenuous.

To believe that the pictures will endanger our troops is naive. To blame the ACLU is to set up a very silly straw man.

I can just imagine telling my grandkids about the days when the press performed a useful function.

I have to go before somebody says `it's for the children'.

leftystrat of PA 11:34PM May 13, 2009

If the U.S. government did not want to jeopardize the lives of U.S. soldiers, it shouldn't have tortured enemy combatants. Putting the blame on the ACLU is just deflecting the issue.
