President Obama Earmark Hypocrisy on the House Omnibus Spending Package

How many have seen where the "economic team" in Our White House came from before they were employed by President Obama? Do some research, they ARE Wall Street and Big Banksers. Google it!

We can always believe that Governement will always explode with growth for itself when not restrained by a citizenry that should be knowledgable of the US Constitution. Our Constitution is desgned for We The People to CONTROL Government to keep this type of spending and actions from happenning for the past nearly 100 years.

Love Your Country. Always question Public Officials and correct them when they are WRONG.

One of those evil earmarks funds 7 local citizens' groups that oversee protection and restoration of marine species and habitats in Puget Sound. A bargain for taxpayers--its local governance carried out by a handful of moderately paid staff who work with dozens of volunteers. We can operate lean and mean and get a lot done on a shoestring budget because we know how to maximize local resources and how to tap a local passionate concern to protect this beautiful place. We prefer not to be dependent on a federal earmark but our work has not been valued enough to elevate it to a more sustainable source of funding.

So strip this out and see how big government does the job.

How did John McCain get smart so fast? During the campaign, he said he knew nothing about the ecoonomy. Then he said he thought the (failing) economy was "strong". Since Nov. 4th he has become an expert on the economy!!!

Does it seem that some are swatting at knats when vultures are flying around? Like the fellow said, those earmarks might just give someone a job? Handle the important stuff now catch some of those in the future.

I'm getting tired of you rich people whining about these stimulus packages.

All you care about is your wallet and Wall Street. You didn't complain when your 600, billion tax dollars went to Iraq.

Most people who need work, want to work. They are not "deadbeats" !

Well wonder if Barbie will be first in line for tatoo removal since so many people think shes disgusting?

Did all these people who are complaining about the Obama administration, not even two months old, complain about the Bush administration in the last destructive eight years? Did they complain about the hidden expenses, the thousands of earmarks Did they complain about the $12 billion dollars sent to Iraq that no one in the Bush administration can account for? Did they complain about the billions and billions of no-bid contracts GIVEN to Haliburton, KBR and Blackwater and other Haliburton subsidiaries? Did they complain when they say the disaster the Bush administration did nothing about, did not even attempt to stop? Where in the hell where McCain and others when the GOP started to deregulate the banking industry. McCain has a lot of nerve to even open his mouth, 28 years of taking up space and he never let on to the American public the damage being done by the Bush administration--in fact, McCain was the one who claimed "our economy is strong" and two weeks later all hell broke out. What a bunch of losers, now when it's too late, now you complain--you should have starte complaining four years ago BEFORE this financial crisis.

The fools in Congress did allocate $200,000 for tattoo removal for former gang members? Plus 900 earmarks! You gotta be kidding! Maybe we should call on an American Guy Foulkes to blow up the whole corrupt Capitol Building! "Honorables" they are not! They are no different from the Bankers, the Wall Streeters, the Insurers and the Mortgagers, etc. whose greed, ignorance and intellectual arrogance got us in the cesspool we are in today!

I voted for John McCain for the very reason we are now all concerned about. I defended President Obama and much admired him but I was afraid of further taxation. We are retired, not wealthy, trying to live on income from our investments which like everyone else's have decreased by half. When President Obama tanks the stock market with talk of new taxes on small business, mortgage deductions, etc., he is taking the so called golden years from a whole lot of people. When he was elected I was in the camp who felt so proud of America and I actually believed he wanted to be the best president any of us could remember. I no longer think that. I believe his agenda was hidden by his charisma and I feel the older generation for sure has been hijacked by a great speaker. We don't have the timeline his children have, nor do my children who are struggling to keep small businesses alive through this mess. New taxes is for sure the straw that will break their backs. There retirement plans are half of what they thought they would be and their kids of college age are suffering as well both in the job market and trying to complete their education without funding from their college funds. I hope everyone gets on board and says NO NEW TAXES for the foreseeable future.

I cannot believe that President Obama is going to sign this bill with 9,000 earmarks worth $7.7 billion. He certainly has NOT been honest with the people as he had promised he would go "line by line" and not approve any earmarks!!!! God help our country if this ridiculous spending continues.
