Obviously the likes of MSNBC, ABC and CNN have turned many into mindless zombies. As far as the Economy going to mush, "OUR" Favorite Junior Senator has done a fine job of destroying US.
Anybody catch the C-Span interview of Obama? He openly admits the US IS OUT OF MONEY! Yet we continue passing bills and "Executive Orders" that will totally Bankrupt the USA.
Like California, we must revolt against this foolishness. July 4th TeaParties are planned as well as the Washington date Sept 12th. Sanity must prevail for our Granchildren's sake.
If you don't believe Fox or US NEWS, do your own research at the Congressional Budget Office or the US Treasury websites.

"obnoxious the strident theme music is when you listen to the same little ditty day after day on TV network and local news. Do they really need theme music?" sure they need it! MUSIC is a great motivator rather conscious or subconscious (if you get my point on this.)

I got rid of all my rss feeds on the news; watch only Charlie Rose, and scan the newspaper in my local area.
We're doing fine; at least we don't feel as 'toxic' as we did when we were trying to keep up with the 'frenzy' that you mentioned.
Also if they'd remove the likes of Glenn Beck and Nancy Grace as well as Rush Limbaugh and Hannity, I'd really love it - they do nothing but incite fear and more fear........

One thing I've noticed in switching back and forth from internet news and broadcast news is how obnoxious the strident theme music is when you listen to the same little ditty day after day on TV network and local news. Do they really need theme music?
