I think that we need to say hats off to the President. Not only is Giethner using new technology to pitch the stimulus plan, but they are making moves that no other administration has done in order to embrace technology. All I can say is, America is looking up!

The financial markets will be happy only when "toxic assets" are unloaded upon the Treasury and ultimately the taxpayer. They want the banks and brokers absolved of any responsibility for tanking the economy with toxic securities that Phd's cannot decipher. The real crooks have degrees from Ivy League colleges

During the election I was amazed at the response Obama was getting, or so the media told us. When I looked into this man, I found a man 3 years younger than me and by the time he got out of school, I had my business for 10 years and was starting my second one. His only "honest" job has been a few years as a civil rights attorney in Chicago.

Why does anybody believe he has a clue?

I think its the best thing that could happen! When the flames explode and the place is in shambles its just around the corner to rebuild or move out of town. And to me, it looks like President Obama couldn't actually plan a better implosion.

The only thing I can think of that would be a quicker way to arrive at the same destination that the new administration is headed to would be for Washington and the courts to outlaw motorized or rubber tired transportation.

That would do essentially the same thing! Bring the good ole US of A to its knees. I feel like I am watching the sequel to Dumb and Dumber, LoL!

Good Luck Ms, Cary, I Iike your writing style...

G-Man as in Goldman-Man. He's at the Treasury to ensure that Wall Street's interests are protected. The inside joke whenever Goldman Sachs elevates a new group of partners in the firm is that one of them will be a future Secretary of the Treasury.

looked like the Captain of the Titanic just after he got done countin' the life boats, and came up about 1500 passengers short.

Geithner is a a G-man, a Fed-man who even looks a little like the TV guy who played Elliot Ness. He ain't supposed to be a "salesman" at Treasury. He's to be more like a cop, actually.

Commerce, however, needs a glad-hander. Good thing Gregg capitulated to his critics.

Now we can get a gregarious liberal Democrat instead.
