he is right ... a little inconvience is worth it or you and your like minded people can get on the plane that does not check throughly. i will wait in line to be checked... as for the cop pulling you over ...well,, you got pulled over...there is a reason for that..right? you got pulled over... so if the officer wants to search you he could. right on the spot. so i suggest keep your mouth shut co operate as best as possible, so you can get through fast because you know there is a large line behind you.

Should we all agree with your thoughts...I think not. As a person who has heard, for the past fifteen years, the life altering real life tales of those personally assaulted and molested and now they have to relive the experience to fly. What TSA does is unacceptable. Yes, I am one of those die hards that say please don't molest me, don't fondle my breasts, don't place your hands inside the lips of my vagina and between my buttocks. Lastly, don't take nude pictures of me for God sakes, where does human decently come in to play. There are several more effective ways to keep us safe.

I laughed a bit at your line indicating how you would feel with a stranger groping your crotch. I might agree if in fact that made wives and children safer. I'm not so sure they don't just grope your crotch for the fun of it.

>> For every blowhard trying to get Congress

>> to undo airport security ...

Mr. Davis, there are two critical falsehoods in this statement.

First, those of us who oppose the TSA in its current form do not oppose airport security. We are not seeking a return to '50s and '60s, when you walked right up to the plane. We are seeking a return to *sensible* security.

Secondly, you assume that the TSA's procedures actually provide more security than was provided before the TSA entered the scene.

But, what if the shoe removal; liquid restrictions; body scanners; and suspicionless friskings were NOT adding to your security in any way. Then would you defend them?

Would you be satisfied if the TSA remained, but if the checkpoints were reverted to only metal detectors and bag x-rays?

>> So let me tell you, Jesse Ventura, how I feel about

>> having strangers grope my crotch. I say it's fine

>> if it will lessen the chance that my wife,

>> my children, and I will be blown into the

>> ether at 35,000 feet.

But, what if a government worker feeling your crotch did NOT lessen that chance?

There should be absolutely no reason to frisk any passenger -- infant, elderly, middle-aged -- without a reasonable suspicion of wrongdoing. I suppose if you were pulled over and a cop told you to get out of the car and proceeded to feel up your crotch, you'd just smile too?

Stop making wisecracks at those who oppose the current TSA, and instead start to do some thinking of your own about whether the current practices are effective, and are not doing more harm than good.

Thank you.

Davis may enjoy being groped by the criminals in the TSA, but I doubt a majority of Americans share his opinion.

The fact is the TSA has been caught abusing its authority on numerous occasions, with women being the most targeted demographic.

Not only that, but the TSA has not caught one would-be terrorist. All of the potential terrorists that have been caught since the inception of the TSA has been because of the vigilance of the public, not this brood of thugs.
