The Democrat-GOP Blame Game and Jon Stewart's 'Sanity'

Paul, in answer to his DADT comment, the separation of the genders is one thing, after all you are speaking of strong males verses less strong females, but how do you logically follow that with a proposal to separate the orientations? Are you claiming that a gay soldier will be able to subdue a straight soldier? Perhaps you are claiming that soldier would get squeamish if he thought that someone had an interest in him? Or perhaps the big, strong, “he-man” types can’t handle rejection? All in all there is no logical basis for speculating on a need for such separation. Either the straight soldier can’t handle the attention, or he can’t handle the rejection. In either case you have painted our troops as wimps. This does a disservice to our troops!
