The Arizona Immigration Law--Good Policy?

Federal law requires that any individual who is hired to work has to provide 2 forms of ID to establish validity of the right to work and their SSN. I9 and W9.The problem is businesses often hire illegal labor and circumvent the law by paying cash and calling the labor subcontractors. 1099s are often not issued or issued to invalid SSNs. If the businesses were held accountable, labor would have no reason to be here and the influx would be substantially reduced. I don't think it will happen because it's cheaper to pay less than a living wage, circumvent payroll taxes and benefits.

I am disgusted that the federal government would abridge citizens rights and blatantly discriminate against the African Americans by allowing illegal immigrants not to be charged with breaking the law and holding them accountable unless it is a felony. The government over zealously racial profiles African Americans, provides harsher sentences even for misdemeanor charges but the government does the opposite for illegal immigrants. Are they saying that since illegal immigrants are not accountable for breaking the law unless it is a felony then all the people in jail especially the African Americans should be released and their charges drop, ignored, and dismissed without prejudice.

People from other countries that want to live here have to abide by the process of being accepted. This is done to ensure that the citizens of the United States privileges, immunities,liberty, justice and the pursuit of happiness are not violated. The United States has a document called the U.S. Constitution and it was made to protect the citizens from greed, corruption, political, government and foreign countries and entities. Great document for citizens the best in the world. We as citizens love this country and though you have issues with your own it is not our issue to deal with, only the rights of the citizens come first. All illegal immigrants are to be treated as if they were still standing at the boarder due to being here illegally. The children of the immigrants cannot prove that their children would have U.S. citizenship by being born outside the United States therefore these children are not entitled to citizenship. All of this protects the citizens with the economy and rights of freedom pursuit of happiness privileges and immunities. The legal immigrants know this and how we value our citizenship because it was made to protect the citizens and not the government.

FYI to be illegal in the United States is a crime and that is why they say illegal it is unlawful entry to the United States. Where did you ever get the idea that it was just civil? In addition of being criminal it can be civil because a citizen could sue for damages caused by illegal immigrants ranging from loss of job security, job prospects, anything which deprives the U.S. citizen of their privilege and immunities, liberty, justice and pursuit of happiness. It is a crime under the law because it violates the Constitution and the U.S. criminal code. Anything stating otherwise is ridiculous read the U.S. Constitution this document was made for the citizens of the United States to protect them and the bill of rights and enumerated rights for the citizens as well.
