The Global Warming Debate Heats Up

I could be paddling a rowboat down Market Street in San Francisco after the poles have melted, and there will still be conservative fanatics who deny that humans are responsible for global warming or that it is even real.

Forest fires used to rage throughout the entire planet unabated and Volcanic activity sent out even more CO2 than we have in the atmoshphere now, 10 times more and guess what? The earth moved on and animals and people survived and did very well.

Pissing away trillions of dollars, especially America's dollars to do something that will have a ridiculously minimal effect on the weather is wasteful.

The Chinese, Indians and rest of the former third world are not going to reduce emissions.Whatever we stop in terms of producing less CO2 they will increase in prodcuing that and the other greenhouse gasses. The net effect is, no change in the planet, American jobs and remaining money redistributed overseas while lining the pockets of UN beaurcrats and Al Gore types who have set up businesses to make billions, not million off of this sham.

Is it possible that we are slightly effecting weather patterns? MAybe but it's totally unclear. The Ice age ended awhile back and yes, it has been getting warmer ever since.

Someday, the Sun will become so hot, right before it starts burning out, that the entrie planet will be reduced to cinders.Should we start spending money ot try and head that off also?

Leftwingers sohuld stop worrying aobut nonsense,In the 1960's the LEFT told us we'd all starve to death by now dud to poulation explosions and other things that not even occurred.

This too, will not happen.

The sun and sunspot activity (solar flares) played a big role in what has happened recently.Ocean currents like El Nina and EL Nino, things we never heard about before are part of the deal also related to the sun and ice is melting for a lot of reasons not related to air temperature above, including the underwater volcanic activity that the LEFT deosn't want anyone to know about.

Guess what? The pouring out of lava from the earth's hot core will melt the ice from underenath also and has.

Things change and the earth changes, this is less than a second in the history of the Earth, try to put what's happened in the past few years in perspective. It's getting colder, buy a hat and gloves, don't throw out the economy with the bath water!

can everyone just wait a bit longer until they decide that GW is the end of the planet..... I mean come on, the models that they are using can't even predict 6 months out correctly let alone 100 years. How about we keep working to get an ACCURATE climate model that can actually predict the future conditions correctly before we start yelling that the sky is falling......... www.carboncorrection.com

seriously, what are the counter arguments for the continued increase in CO2 levels, yet the fall in temperature? The GW crew points to the CO2 level as the end all and be all, yet there seems to be divergence occurring...... www.controlmycarbon.com
