How the heck playing sport became a privilege in our society? Playing sport should be treated like any other profession. Michael Vick has a skill and the knowledge to play Football. He should be allowed to work in his desired field so long as an employer (a tema) is willing to hire him. I can understand that a convicted felon should not be allowed to deal in financial industries or areas where a fiduciay realtionship is created, but to completely ban a person from an occupation specially when the underlying crime had nothing to do with the his job is irrational.

If no team is willing to "hire" vick, that is acceptable; but to prevent him from working is un-American. There is a great chance that he will never get endorsement contract, but the market should dictate that decision.

Lastly, why on earth we (the society) made this athletes a role model? This fictional "duty" was created by companies that wanted to use their image to sell their products. A good parent knows "who" should become a role model for his/her child. A Nike commercial or a Big-Mac ad should not make that decision for our children.

These athletes are nothing but entertainers, and they should be treated accordingly.

Let the market (fans) decide if and when Michael Vick should return to the football field.

Michel Vick needs to go back into one of those cages the dogs were in. Football is supposed to be FUN..We don't need to :"get sick" everytime an announcer says his name during a game and think of DOGS...ELECTROCUTION, DROWNING, BASHING, RAPE STANDS,FIGHTING??? Let him go away and LET'S PLAY BALL!!!
