They stood watching the crane. Darling, what do you mean? The entire San Sebastian swindle. By giving it no thought. His voice sounded faintly impatient. I wouldnt have allowed it! They cannot be reached by a rational argument. She raised her face to him, in obedient indifference.

Hey NWesterner of WA, not every American shares your pessimistic, archaic, bigoted, snotty view of the world.

Homosexuality is merely a normal variation on human (and animal, by the way) sexuality. If you're not grown up enough to understand or deal with that, that's your problem.

Gay people are not going to go away just because you are uncomfortable with them. America might as well live up to its constitutional promises and treat LGBT people with equal respect and dignity under the law.

I know, I know, you don't like it. Well I'm sure the KKK members among us don't like racial equality either. But they learn to shut their yaps and deal with it. Take a lesson.

I'm disgusted by this move toward normalizing the gay, lesbian, transgendered and whatever else community. Hopefully, Obama's public announcement will mobilize large groups of citizens to verbalize their lack of support for this pretense that a man mating with a man (and the female variation) is "normal." Nothing normal about it. At all.

This country is starting to look more and more like other civilizations that marched to collapse.

It's unfortunate the media did not publicize this more. The protest would have been loud.

And, no...it's not discrimation. Usage of that term is being applied so loosly these days that if we don't allow cats to marry, well, I suppose that's discrimation, too. On a human level, perhaps these homosexual folks will lobby for the mormoms to marry multiple wives. Hey, why not. Liberty is far more important than morality in this nation (formerly under God).

Sick to my stomach..

There you go.....name calling. We are keeping it clean and real. When one doesn't understand what is going on....trying to demean a person is usually the route taken You took that route. Sorry you took that route; but I forgive you.

While I am on the subject, go look in your history book and read it carefully. Leave your fight tactics off of the pages and open your mind to receive the truth. You will be enlightened and will never in good conscious make a statement like that again.

Hey insanity, your dumb!Gay rights is just as big! Especially since gays have been oppressed over the years for way too long! More opressed then the blacks in the 60's were!

gaydude of WA 3:34AM June 29, 2009

You have rights; but someone has to be truthful about this.

In other words, you have rights to protest in the United States of America for whatever you deem is right for you and your cause. That is not taken from you. So, continue to speak out; but do not resort to tactics of blame on our President for something that has been on the House and the Senate’s table for far longer than he’s been President. He said that he sees your cause and is working on it.

My seriousness is far reaching.

Gloria of NC 8:46AM June 28, 2009

"You have rights;"

Are you serious?

Cindy of NE 1:08AM June 28, 2009

This is absolutely stupid.

I'm all for gay rights. I'd love to see all 50 states legalize gay marriage by the end of Obama's term.

But seriously. We're at war. The economy has completely collapsed. Our medical system is broken. Our education system is crumbling.

He has bigger things to worry about. And if you honestly think a marriage license is more important than people's lives, you're out of your mind.

Obama is doing as much, or possibly more, than you could ever expect from one human being in such a short space of time. And the fact that you think this is something that should even be on his radar right now is ridiculous.

Religion is the only thing that makes gay wrong.

It's time to recognize that religion has been anything but a positive social force in the world - especially for gays.
