Healthcare Reform Heats Up

Facts!

• 49 % of all bankruptcies in America are the result of a major illness!

• 47 million Americans have no access to healthcare!

A government run National Healthcare System (Single Payer System) is the best guarantee of healthcare access for all. It removes the insurance companies from the healthcare process except for those who still want and can afford to pay for private care. These vultures have never been about the business of healthcare. They are about the healthcare business (Profit).

Americans claim that government run NHS in Canada and England and other countries are in many ways bad therefore they are against such a system. It never dawns on them that this is a golden opportunity to create a “Better” national healthcare system benefiting from and improving upon the areas of failure in those systems but getting an NHS nevertheless.

As for the Americans who balk at paying an additional $500 in taxes to get such a system I would point out two more facts.

• The American taxpayer has an open tab running for two wars at a cost up to now of more than $87 Billion and counting.

• We have just been handed tab for $8.7 TRILLION to bailout the banks and those responsible for the collapse of the economy.

It is sheer lunacy and gross stupidity for any American taxpayer to object to paying an additional $500 in taxes to get a NHS which guarantees every American access to healthcare, protection against bankruptcy due to illness and saves them from the rampant greed of the medical insurance and pharmaceutical companies.

Instead of hitting the sidewalks with the determination and will of the people of Iran and demanding an NHS they are stupidly rejecting the idea and letting the politicians in Washington decide their fate; The very politicians who ran with our taxes to save big business while the American taxpayers were left to lose their homes and end up literally on the streets. We all know who finances political campaigns. If we don’t wise up, get off our backsides, get organized and take action to pressure our politicians into an NHS and QUICKLY, we are going to end up with what the Insurance and Pharmaceutical companies want. Obama already said “An NHS is too radical!” (Two wars and bailouts were not!) You snooze, you lose!

Health care Reform Heats Up

What it means is that you wail be forced to buy into a overpriced heath care program that will do nothing for you. Todays American Doctors are trained in capitated health care, which provides the doctor with a bonus for providing you with the least amount of heath care at the end of the year. If you are dieing from cancer, the doctor will get a bonus by not giving you proper care. Oh, don't get me wrong there are still a few good doctors, but they can get fired if they give you the care you need. Its all about the buck. Corporate anything usually means maximum profit for CEO's, less profit for the stockholders, and least or no profit for the customers.
