He is trying hard to reinvent himself to become head of what he hopes to become the reinvented Republican party, but by out-Rush Limbaughing the Obama administration and warming over his old failed contract on America. As an acknowledged student of history, he should have learned that an ill-advised negative approach is what did Senator Dole in when campaigning against Clinton.
