Hi I'm God, yea, I know you probably won't believe me seeing how this is the internet, but I really am! I'm the one keeping Obama alive!

True veterans are offended, you pulled the same stunt one of my friends did, by only referencing part of the definition that speaks of hate groups. If that is the case and that's how this definition exists, why was there a need to include opposition to abortion and illegal immigration as well as big government mentioned in the definition? Take it out and change the title is all I ask. Or is that too difficult for Napolitano's peanut brain? No wonder the dumb broad's never been married, is that thing even a human being?

Before you post a blog, next time read the entire report instead of picking out only a few pieces to aid the left. I also love how they used the words 'right-wing terrorist' 3 times in the report but never even once in the left-wing report said 'left-wing terrorist'. Where's the balance now? I'd be just as upset if this was McCain's doing and had some right-wing nutjob saying left-wing extremists are doing the same garbage this report gives.

Everyone talks about how evil religion is. That it has fomented wars and factions and many other "social unenlightened ills." But let us consider government through the ages. No other entity has been as responsible for the incomprehensible loss of life in order for the government to pursue its own agenda. Here are the numbers for the 20th century alone.

World War I - 15 Million

World War II - 50 - 70 Million

Russian Civil War - 9 Million

USSR from Communist Revolution to 1946 - ~60 Million

Post-War Expulsion of Germans from East Europe (1945-47): 2 Million

Chinese Civil War (1945-49) - 2.5 Million

People Republic of China (1949-1975) - 40 Million

Tibet (1950-now) - .6 Million

Congo Free State (1886-1908) - 8 Million

Mexican Revolution (1910-1920) - 1 Million

Armenian Massacre (1915-1923) - 1.5 Million

China, Warlord Era (1917-1928) - .8 Million

China, Nationalist Era (1928-1937) - 3.1 Million

Korean War (1950-1953) - 2.8 Million

North Korea (1948-now) - 5 Million

Rwanda and Burundi 1.35 Million

Second Indochina War (1960-1975) 3.5 Million

Pol Pot (1975-1978) 1.6 Million

The list continues but I think you get the idea. The total for this list is ~218 Million people over the course of ~75 years (2/3rds the current population of the United States) who were killed directly or indirectly in battle or murdered as "enemies of the state." The number killed as enemies of the state is truly staggering.

Religion cannot even come close to these numbers even if you total them from the time of Christ until now.

These are the kinds of government our founders were trying to protect against. The use of government to single out a group(s)simply due to differing ideology moves it one step closer to proactively silencing them (either by laws or through internment). If you are on the "right" side you may cheer this type of action, but what happens when your ideas are perceived as a threat to the state?

This report is truly frightening in that a high level governmental security agency has issued this report and then publicized it. I don't care whether you are liberal or conservative, atheist or religious, this report should concern you.

I looked at the report you specify, it appears to be very specific about the threat and appears to be well researched.

The new DHS report on "Right-Wing Extremists" seems to be more innuendo and supposition than any real facts or valid research.

It seems to be a witch hunt for anyone who doesn't believe as the President does.

Why are so many people suddenly concerned about the content of the DHS report? It repeats data which was produced during the Bush Administration!

Yes, I read the report by DHS on Rightwing extremism. I was offended for two reasons.

One: Why are extremists allowed to be in a right or left group? They should have their own group just called Extremists and Radicalists. The branch that published this report is called just that, "Extremism and Radicalization Branch". I didn't get to read the Left-wing extremist DHS report but I would imagine that it could offend regular or normal leftwing individuals if it had as many generalizations as this rightwing report has.

Two: I do feel however that the worst part of this report was the amount of generalizations. A generalization in and of itself is destructive like Johnny above who said, "Republicans seem to lurch from hissy-fit to hissy-fit, while the rest of us get things done." Where the report was not generalized I felt that it was helpful.

Maybe the "hissy-fit" should be on how many generalizaions were in this report versus how many specifics.

I happened to be listening to the radio today when I heard all kinds of stuff about Right-Wing Extremism and who is considered a threat to America. I wanted to get the facts and decided to go straight to DHS.gov (Department Homeland Security's website)

What I read was not at all what I heard on the radio talk show. Did someone edit that press release? Well, I am not too sure what to make of this, I want to trust the source but..

Perhaps some of you can read and listen to what I heard today.
