I am a healthy 18 year old female who has had the guardisil shot administered to me and I personally have not experienced any adverse side effects. I have heard many stories similar to those in this article and I share my deepest sympathies to those who have experienced that. My family has a long line of women who have suffered from cervical cancer and after a lot of consideration between my parents and I we decided this vaccine might not be a bad choice considering the medical history of the women on both sides of my family. If your thinking of getting it would i would suggest doing your research and weighing out the pros and cons. I've also heard not to have the shot combined with any other shots or that could increase your chance of having a bad reaction. I actually did recieve the vaccine with 6 other shots at the same time and nothing happened to me, but thats not always the case. Just be careful, consider your options, do your research and make your decision. This is just my two cents. :)

is there anyone out there who didn't have any side effects from this HPV vaccine?

My sympathies to all who have experienced adverse events following vaccinations. Touted as "extremely rare", this is not the case. As parents assemble and share stories, the dangers can no longer be hid. If your child has suffered an adverse event, make sure a VAERS form is filed. According to the FDA (even as a conservative number), less than 10% of adverse events are filed per annum for vaccinations. THIS is why individuals can claim "extremely rare" side effects can occur. If VAERS was not a passive system, I believe we'd be seeing much more vaccinations pulled off the shelf.

I do agree that there are other dangers aside from vaccinations, however I believe that we must control what is in our power to control as parents, I cannot control the "air quality" but I can control what vaccinations my children receive, which are, and will always be "none".

Parents are left with no recourse from adverse events from vaccinations. Unfortunately, the only thing "immunized" in this grand scheme is manufacturers.

Going back to Gardasil, the doctor whom studied HPV for over 20 years, Dr. Harper, called releasing Gardasil in mass a huge public experimentation on young girls. HPV mainly clears on its own, and if not, can be caught with annual pap smears. The average age of a woman to contract cervical cancer is late 30's to early-mid 40's. With beginning vaccinations at age 12, it is unknown 1) How long the "protection" from the 4 strains of over 100 will last, 2) Long term safety effects and 3) Whether or not this will turn less invasive strains (the other 96+) more lethal.

Please parents, investigate, investigate, investigate.

In 2007, at the age of 15, my daughter received the highly touted "Cancer Vaccine" Gardasil. Within 2 weeks, she had difficulty even walking, extreme daily fatigue, high fever, head aches, abdominal pains, etc. Since that time she has been diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Lupus and MCTD (Mixed Connective Tissue Disease), for which there is no known cure.

Prior to the shot, she was a normal healthy, athletic young woman. Today, she needs to take a long list of medications just to maintain a fraction of the vitality she once had. I wish we had waited...

My 13 year old daughter has missed alnost the entire school due to side effects from Gardasil. She is in chronic pain and 8 months later, we do not know from day to day what we will face. She has struggled this year to function and NO CHILD should have to go through this. Parents should investigate before they allow doctors to administer Gardasil to their children.

The CDC and FDA need to launch a full blown investigation to ensure that this drug is pulled from the market before thousands more of our children are injured.

The medical community does not understand the ramifications of this drug and if you allow your child to be administered, you are basically on your own to find a treatment.

Please INVESTIGATE BEFORE YOU VACCINATE. All you have to do is google Gardasil Side Effects.
