Obama Correct on Stem Cell, But Also Political

I favor Obama's move on stem cell research, but to say he is putting science above politics rings hollow; politics is still driving the train, just in a different direction now.

He did not lift a "ban" on the research, he simply lifted the ban on federal funding. Which I for one don't want my tax dollars being used to fund private industries, especially the health care industry that continues to drag the American people over the coals while making millions.

If the research is so promising they will fund it themselves to make the profits.

This country has lost it's way, thinking that the only way to get anything funded is through the government
