The defaulting weakness on the part of those who try to paint Rush Limabaugh, Ann Coulter or any of the the very eloquent but blunt conservative advocates is that of these critics' disingenious avoidance to confront conservatives on specific issues of the conservative principles. The conservative princibles are intellectual higher than who is racist and who is not, neither are they based on religious extremism or sexism. Most of the conservative ideas in today America are pure economic principles, government controls and individual freedom. This is why the Left, the liberals and the so-called moderates do not have any coherent counter-argument against the logical and reasonably inherent human behavior which is most likely to reflect on individual inalienable rights to freedom, liberty and pursuit of hapiiness. If as a native of Ghana residing in United States can appreciate the greatness of America as it evolves on the principles of the Founding Fathers of this great Nation, it baffles me to see the common sense lines in the onslaught of conservatism in America. The longer the media continues this onslaught on conservatism, the further we see the decline of this great nation, The United States of America, but never the vice versa.

Attacking Limbaugh is what he wants.

He'll tell you right out that he likes to get under peoples skin and makes then mad. He's good at it and it makes him Rich.

I agree with the Doug of California. It's an act... they're actually manupulating everyone for personal gain. Not just the liberals, but their followers. How do you deal with people like that? you ignore them. To mention them gives them credability... something they don't deserver.

I've listened to Rush quite a lot over the years. The man is a very intelligent man, but a hypocrite. He knows he's being inconsistant, he knows he's speaking from both corners of his mouth, but he also knows that his audience eats it up.

Case in point: 2001 tax cuts... The argument that this was penny's in the pockets of those who needed it, that lowest tax bracket didn't get a cut at all. His answer? "Even a few dollars a month is better than nothing at all, it can be the difference between making it and not making it. Liberals don't get it, any money in the hands of these people can make a different." Rush in 2008 "$16 a month raise? what good is that?" Same scneario, he took the exact opposite side. He's doing the same thing right now: He's talking about how it's the medias responsibility to call out the president! That it's our responsibility to question everything. He's saying that our government works because of skepticism, that it is the peoples job to make the president fail when he is wrong. Flash back to.. well.. anytime during the Bush administration and the talk was all about we need to unite behind the president, and how awful it is that liberals want GW Bush to fail. In reality, the media played up to Bush the same way they play Obama.

Hannity is the worst as he's not as good at making himself seem believable. He's so over the top that I wouldn't be surprised if his actual views were quite different than what he's actually saying.

Read Mother Night by Kurt Vonegut...it's about an allied spy who ran an nazi propaganda radio program that he used to send coded messagesback to the allies. That character did this for his country and did it well.. but these guys.. and this includes liberals as well, are doing this for a profit, and get under peoples skin, at the same time, and giving their audience what they want to hear. They simply give their group what they want to hear, and it's rarely the trush.

If you're looking to make some money, and you know how the game works, and you can deal with the deceit, this might be a job for you!

It is a truth in life loudness is directly proportional to insecurity. That Coulter, Limbaugh, Hannity, et al have gotten louder since the election proves the truth. Substitute lying, obnoxiousness, personal attacks for loudness, and you cover the lot of the ring wing bloviators.

Regardless of whether you agree with Rush its refreshing he provides a conterbalance to the bland conformity that is going on with the media that has basically gone into the tank for Obama. The Limbaugh argument is very simple, has the Obama administration basically undermined the Constitution by trying to remake government in its own image by enacting irresponsible spending programs. The weight of his argument seems to be yes. We just had an appropriations bill passed that is not helping the economy and is loaded with pork. Yet the media doesn't call out the Obama administration on this. I hope the Limbaugh issue will foster a healthy debate among americans.

Coulter should be investigated for

voter fraud and gender fraud.

Take a gander at that Adam's Apple.

Coulter and Limbaugh are biased columnists and commentators. Nothing wrong with that.

The problem is liberal journalists who present biased news such as we see on the major TV networks while pretending to give news. This can unfairly sway elections, for ex., such as when Goldwater was vilified as an "extremist" by the network anchors.

I have argued this with liberals, and they seem sincere in being blind to liberal bias while easily recognizing conservative bias on FOX, for ex. I have tried to analyze this, and I don't really have an answer. My best guess is that many subjects in political correctness, like race, have such strong taboos associated with them that libs regard lib views as "fact" and the taboo views as "wrong."

What about Vito Grevas? He has said some very nasty things about people. Why isn't the media taking him to task? Could it be that no one has ever heard of him and don't care what he says or thinks? Coulter and Limbaugh are despised because they are independently successful and don't need the adoration of the media to make them or break them. If the media really thought they were irrelevant or ineffective then the media would ignore them, just as they ignore Vito Grevas

if one were to apply a lie detector test to either one they both would flunk. it is time to dump these junkies as journalists and spokespeople for the republican party. it should be clear they damaged the republicans during the election. they need to roll up their sleeves, put on their working shoes, fill a lunch pail and join america. they are both a disgrace and you can throw in hannity as well plus fox news which is an oxymoron. on the other hand keep them and take another whipping.
