What phrase... super, remarkable idea

Hahaha.... How can anyone say that Obama "...has accomplished more in one month than most presidents accomplish in one year."

Do you know your history? Do you realize that presidents of this country have faced civil wars, attacks on our soil, worse depressions than this, and terrible world conflicts? Please. Obama has done nothing that I would consider a great act thus far as president. It's politics as usual in Washington. I will bet my life that all this year brings is a further depreciating dollar and worsening relations with the rest of the world.

Just because the man is black doesn't mean that he's any different from any other politician.

Oh, and to blame the rich for your problems... You do realize they are the ones that create jobs, right?

Let me put it in a way you might understand. By spreading money around to the poor and middle class (of which I am a part) you do not create jobs.. How could a poor person (or a middle class individual struggling to make ends meet) living off of government checks possibly employ anyone else? Isn't the idea to create jobs?

Think about it.

/Begin random anecdote/

At a restaraunt the other day, I witnessed the following:

An obviously homeless man walks in and orders his food.

He eats, and when finished, proceeds to walk out without leaving any money at his table. He turns to the hostess on his way out, and I kid you not, says "Obama's got me."

Spending our way to bankruptcy?

The spending philosophy does not work if you look at history…My childhood was met without the use of credit cards. My mother would buy us new school clothing every year though the lay-a-way system. This is how I was raised…paying cash for goods. Therefore, my parents were able to provide for their family and we never went without.

Our country today is charging up debt on our children, grand children, and great grand children’s future. Our off spring will have to go bankrupt in order to survive because of this out of control government spending. What will our children have to give up…the farm; meaning the real estate/land in our country? Will our borders be redefined? Who knows how the future generation will pay our debt?

The Obama administration will undoubtedly raise the taxes on the rich to pay for much of the debt. It is discussed that the rich may loose their taxable donations and mortgage interest deductions too. The charities that raise monies to help people in our society will become non-existent and the government will have to take care of those who are benefited by those charities.

Please exercise control and do not let Obama change our society and country by his out of control spending and new taxation policies…I beg you to forget your party affiliation and do what is best for our country. Think of what this will do to our children’s futures.

I hated to see the stimulus plan passed. Obama even said after it went into effect that it was just one part of what needs to be done. Now my children and grandchildren are going to pay for our stupid mistakes. And pork this stimulus plan is loaded with it. Money for birth control and stop smoking is absurd. I do not see how this will help stimulate the economy. We are in a bad way and Obama and Congress are just putting us further in debt. We need to balance the budget and start paying down on the deficit. We need to stop giving money to other countries and start getting money back from them. We need to stop the NAFTA free trade agreement and keep everything American made and this will stimulate the economy and creat many jobs for Americans. This would solve all our problems without going further in debt as a country.

The negativity, fear, class warfare, and blame that he has used to get to the position he is in and then to use it "lead" this country is wrong.

I understand taking some time to learn the job because there is nothing that can prepare one for it, but his method is hurting the folks he claims to care about.

I want to see bold decisions, bold actions, and a steadfast agenda, none of which he has done. I want to see him encourage others to become rich and profitable, not act like it is a bad thing or something that should be looked down on. The "rich" have done a lot of good for this country and for the people that were willing to prepare themselves and work for success. If anyone thinks that this thing is going to turn around without them then they are fooling themselves.

Look at my state, it is so business unfriendly that the businesses are leaving as fast as they can. The result, 42 billion dollar short fall. I looks as if President Obama is going down the same path that California took hope for prosperity.
