I think the Stimulus is without a doubt a good idea. Buah spent 8 years getting this economy in an up roar so I think people need to fall back and Obama help see us through.

What are people suffering from across the nation? My God answer the questions and you will know how to fix the problem. I suffer from Credit card abuse from U.S. Senators trying to protect there own businesses. We to readily bailout the crooks who started the mess and forget the consumer that buys all the products. We give them billions and the peasants get a couple of hundred bucks, to give Mcdonalds a boost. The banks have conveinently separated there credit card divisions who have bilked consumers for years. Let them help the bankers! Maybe the bank for a change would appreciate a 24% apr compounded, and compounded somemore. Let the Oil companies help the car companies, after all it's there gas that has made our air intolerable to breath and if there were no cars they would be out of bussines. Have a nice Day!

"Joe the Plumber" said at the polls this year, WE ARE MAD AS HELL, AND NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE.

Which part of - we have faithfully contributed to our 401Ks, worked all our lives, lost our houses to preditory lending, and are feed up with the uber rich always ending up with the $$ do you not understand.

It is time for CHANGE. You may not like the change, but you have brought it on yourself. I am tired of the SUCKING sound of money being moved up to the uber rich, while "Joe the Plumber" has lost his job and cannot find another.

Revolution occurred at the VOTING BOOTH. We are no longer interested in eating cake, because we have no bread. It is clear we will never be reasonably happy when you take from us all we have earned and saved over a lifetime.

GET A CLUE. Things are going to change because you have OVER STEPPED. YOUR greed has changed the vote of the populous. We want help, because we have been good citizens (worked and saved), and we are getting SCREWED.

You cannot remove hope and expect that the "masses" are going to contine to support a political agenda that has led to 8 years of taking our 401Ks, houses, and jobs.

Here's an idea folks! Why don't they give everyone who makes under $50,000.00 a year $20,000.00 to get the economy flowing, instead of giving billions dollars to companies in which they are just going to keep anyway. The economy is still going to get worse and people are still losing their jobs at a staggering rate. It's just sad.....

My greatest concern is leaving the same Senators, Congressmen (That includes the President) to decide how to distribute a trillion dollars. These people caused this mess in the first place. I would recommend the following:

1) For citzens that make up to 100,000 dollars suspend all income tax for two years. This would put around $500.00 dollars a month in the taxpayers pocket. Just enough to invest in buying products without a lump sum to just save. I would then progreesively reduce taxes from their. I would also reduce taxes for small business.

2) Invest the next bundle of money in intrastructure projects. I would allow the states to decide on thy projects. I would require the states to make the money use available for review to all citzens.

3) Next I would use the next lot of money to invest in alternative energy. The largest percentage on local buildings to reduce property taxes by saving energy.

4) As a public relation and leadership role I would require all Senators and Congressman that have net worth of $250,000 dollars or more not to take any pay for their remaing term. The president should also participate in this program. During the elction process the president considered people making this amount wealthy. If we expect private industry to cut back we should expect the same from our officials that live off of our tax dollar.

That is it anything else is a waste of tax payers money. I don't underastand what else could be added.

I tend to agree with Senator McConnell,

We should take his advice, that way we might be able to attain the Conservative Movment Goals of 3% having all the wealth in the nation and the rest of in the poor class achieving the complete goal of wiping out the entire middle class

We have had a good 8 year start thanks to the superb job George Bush did in his administration.

As proof, look where are Country is today!

Great job "W"!!

Atleast when we are all unemployed we will be current on the trends of STDs and practice safe sex! Not sure how that will stimulate the economy and help end the recession we are in. I thought the root of the crisis was the housing market...I had no idea it was STD's! Gosh, Thank God we have such intelligent, trustworthy people running our country to set us straight!

In case you did not know...pay your taxes...don't be an idiot and say you forgot or did not know...duh!

We are all doomed!!!!!!!!!!!!
