Hey Bill,

I'm not sure where you get the idea that I didn't notice what was happening for the past 8 years. In my original post, I pointed out that I've spent most of the Bush Years so angry with W and his gang that I had to pretty much stay away from talking politics in my column (it's generally a good-natured humor kind of thing).

I have NEVER been so happy to see history turn a page!

I'm just saying, I can't help having a little bit sympathy for the doof, self-deluded as he may be. Do you think he actually set it as a personal goal to be the worst president in US history? I mean, I feel bad if I have an overdue library book.

All that said, I can't deny that a little rehab might still be in order...
