Women's Issues Quandary

Michelle Obama can be the type of first lady she chooses to be. That's the beauty of America and feminism ["Barack and Michelle Obama Sound Tone-Deaf on Women's Issues," usnews.com]. Her choice; not yours or your neighbor's. She doesn't have to conduct her life, her career, or her family the way you think she should.

I'm really disappointed by some 'women's advocates' and minority groups who are already whining about Obama picking only white men so far, as his cabinet members. You guys need to chill. I'm a black man but I don't want to see this man run over by liberal advocacy groups just because he surrounds himself with people he's comfortable with. I don't care if Obama's staff is all white or all male (which it wouldn't be), all that matters is that he select the best people for the job. Obama won the White House because he abandoned race and gender identification...he ran as an American. Let's all do the same.
