Sticking Up for Sarah

You guys don't get it. Evangelicals couldn't care less what you have to say about Sarah Palin or anything anymore ["Sarah Palin Was as Bad as We Thought," usnews.com]. You blew it big time with us! It's the values stupid, and none of the mainstream media has any. You'll never convince us that Sarah Palin is unprofessional or incompetent. The biggest loser in this election is the mainstream media. They represent the most corrupt and unprofessional organization around. We know you're trying to degrade her hoping she'll go away. It's just your fear of her that shines so bright in all of your articles. You're scared to death of her and everybody knows it. You're not fooling any of us.

And John McCain told the American people on numerous occasions that Sarah Palin was absolutely qualified to take over the presidency if need be? Liberals would love to see Palin go back to Alaska and never come back. I think it is safe to say that it is the Republican Party that will make sure she doesn't return on the national stage. I'm kind of sick that those who insisted she was qualified are now throwing her under the bus.

How can they think that Sarah Palin is a viable candidate when her philosophy on women's issues are so far to the right? Why do they pass over her daughters pregnancy while pushing family values? Funny that they attack the media over values with a do as I say not as I do attitude. The base is not going to get away with theses inconsistent stances anymore.

I can beleive evangelicals don't care what USN has to say, or what anyone has to say that isn't fawning over their views or the political reps they cling to...where I'm at a loss is why? Nevermind the views themselves, or their basis. Why would ANY Christian support a woman (or man...or frog) who lies, has shown great ethical lapses, clearly intends to mislead, and serves as a great example of how a Christian should NOT be? That's where I'm lost.
