What criteria did you use to define the great depression as ending in March, 1933? I was born in August, 1933. My father got a job driving a school bus at $15 per month. In 1938 he drove a logging truck for $0.15 per hour. In 1939 he started working at a store for $15 per week. In 1942 he entered OCS at $21 per month. Anyone that thought the depression ended in March 1933 is dreaming. We existed, probably better than most because my mother was a school teacher.
