"For Richer or Poorer?" [September 15-22] certainly resonates with this father of the bride-to-be! The ceremony and celebration of a wedding have been overshadowed by pageantry and spectacle. The event is so emotionally charged that resistance is futile (I know this firsthand, times two). So we'll (proudly) walk our daughters down the aisle, (grudgingly) write the check, and commiserate at our preferred watering hole. Amen.
