A Cappella Coups

As an alumnus of the Tufts Beelzebubs, I am pleased that U. S. News recognized the dedicated musicians of this and other collegiate a cappella groups ["Tuning In to College a Cappella," June 16].

Having joined the "Bubs" in its second year, I am amazed to have witnessed its transformation from the days of barbershop and glee club to its current style, as demonstrated by Pandaemonium, the 29th album recorded in the 45-year history of the Beelzebubs. Both this cd and its 2005 predecessor, Shedding, swept all four male collegiate categories in the Contemporary a Cappella Society of America's awards: best album, best solo, best song, and best arrangement. Audio samples can be heard at www.bubs.com/albums.asp.

you run an add or something else. National interest my a--.
