Gas Price Fixes

I am just a simple single mom in small town America struggling to have enough money for gas to get to work most days. I sacrifice my son's birthday present for a tank of gas. So what do I think America needs? I know it's not a charity competition tv show so people can show off what they've given. It's not a billionaire who has to hire someone and pay them millions to give away their billions so that they can make the biggest difference in the world. The person or company that wants to be the true hero and help this country more than any one in this world as of late will be the one that steps up and says "I don't care what the market price for fuel said it was, I am only going to charge half that price and take a loss because I really care about all the little guys out there. " To me this person/persons would do more for every person in this country and around the world than has been done by anyone in decades. Maybe there isn't a tax rightoff for this kind of charity but is that what it's suppose to be about? No it's not about that in my book. Or maybe there should be a rightoff rather than an increase in taxes or subsidies. I agree that down the road we should be releasing some reserves and allowing more drilling on our own soil but till that happens this would be more than sufficient.

I heard a quote today on a tv news show that a certain oil co. makes $13,000 per second. That's how much I make in a year working 70-80 hours a week. Okay so I don't have the cost of living that most billionaires do but, how much is needed to retain even that lifestyle. $6500 per second might do it. You would think at some point someone would realize that they've made more than enough to live comfortably the rest of their lives so maybe the rest could be given back to society. There have been so many natural disasters of late, hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, earthquakes, and floods. All our lives are unsure and material wealth can not go with you into eternity and it seems to me that a cut in the fuel costs would help each and every person affected by these disasters and even more. It would even ease the burden on others with the ability to help them in other ways to be able to volunteer their time as well.

I have a Bachelors degree in history so I have studied all the people who have had the biggest impact. Whose going to make History now when this country needs you the most? We need a hero!

I don't know how you had the audacity to do your June, 16th Coverstory. I am not a great fan of the Arabs and thier inbred attitude, but your cover was a total LIE. The Arabs get less than ,039% of the cost of a barrel of crude oil. The real money goes

to the petroluem companies so they can get thier BILLIONS upon BILLIONS in total

PROFIT. This story should be in The GLOBE or THE SUN next to the check out counter.

Get your head out of ??where ever it is and write the truth. If your not afraid to.
