I read your article "Finding Music in Autism" [April 7-14].

I have a wonderful, autistic granddaughter named Gaby whom I'm so proud of. She helps her mom with her small brother and shows so much love for her family. Gaby is an artist, loves designing cakes, and is going to be 18 years old. I feel sad for her because she wishes she had a boyfriend. I tell her that God will find someone for her. I really want to see her happy more than anything. I know it's hard enough for parents, but stepparents who help raise these children are very special also. My daughter has done a wonderful job raising Gaby and her brother, Gino. My son-in-law has done a wonderful job, too, and I love him for it.
